strange lag, weird castle wars, and spontanous logoffs

has anyone noticed that rs has really weird lag today? it's like you click something and it takes a few seconds for ur player to act. I suspect that this problem stems from castle wars area... and sometimes my character would just log off without warning... anyone know wats going on?

Could be your internet connection. I have had no problems so far yet.

I did too, but the two servers I got off of went offline like 5 minutes after i left lol

allright... but it looked liek a problem in the game itself... i mean i could still see ppl moving around without lag while i just stood there doing nothing.

The only weird things I've seen for a while now is male characters sometimes glitch out and stand with their feet together. That's been happening since Recruitment Drive...

And since the last update when woodcutting male characters just stood next to the trees... no animation of them cutting the trees at all they just stood there, despite everyone there actually cutting them...

I dunno why, maybe jagex missed a few things?

I don't know. But I experienced something like you did where I click and the server responds after 3~5 seconds.
and when I surf the Internet, its fast like normal.

It's a little bit better now.

that only happens if you have bad internet, or if you're using a bad world....because the worlds depend on how close you are to them...like the servers....i think the closer you are to the server then the better connection you get, and if you use one that's far away then you'll have a really bad connection....or i could be wrong

That's exactly what I was experiancing. I truely think there was something wrong with rs, not my internet because of this. I went to the world they recommended and it happend, not some random server. Also the serves had 0 people when i went back to the rs server list. And when i switched servers I had no problem so they probably went to one of those servers (i think they were st. louis servers)
