Stop Censoring?

I think that Censoring should be stopped in runescape.....not like the "f" word or any curse words because i agree on them blocking that but I tried to say the word "crud" earlier today and it blocked it......and also the blocking of the letter "w" more than once is ridiculous.....anyway the argument is why are we allowed to fight demons and hit people with axes and having zombie heads, but yet we are not allowed to say the word "crud"....hey it's up to you guys to decide that.... :roll:

Yep. Censoring has come to block every word which is not in the game (i.e items)

It's annoying how me, speaking spanish, can't communicate well with my fellow mexicans because of the censor

lol funny, i think that jagex also blocks stupid things too, one time i was trying to say my name with spaces between each letter

ex: s n e a k 1 2 3 0

turned out like this

s n e a k *******

???? doesn't make sense......

Its pretty annoying but you have to remember. Even the game involves killing demons, people, monsters, ect... it does not contain any blood or gore at all. The game has to be sutiable for younger people to play. Also another reason they have the censor is becuase they need to make it a safe enviornment. I mean sure it would be nice for you to have the choice of having the censor or not, but then Jagex might have to make some big changes. They might have to make the game only p2p so that people who are not mature enough do not get a hold of it.

Another thing to remember is that they will not even bother with any requests about the censor. It is part of the game that you HAVE to deal with.

"Fart" is also sensored

i think they should only censor curse words not everyday used words lol

i also just said "I said 1k noob" in the game and it did

"I sai**** noob"

see what i mean......
I actually think it blocks out d1k, still though they should fix it

Jagex just randomly adds words to the cencor list which defys the point of it. Even when you accidently leave out a space and it comes up as **** low level players are like "OMG, THAT PERSON SWEARED!!!! LETS REPORT HIM"...

I am not really bothered whether censoring is stoped in Runescape, partially or completely. I rarely say anything bad online anyway. However, it does get annoying that I cant say "1k until level up!" or anything along those lines.

They have the censor because millions of parents out there would die if their kid said "crud". However, the censor could do with soem fine-tuning.
