I think you mean great axe. The abbysal whip is better in the way that it can train attack and def very fast. The great axe is better if you have the entire dharoks set. You can get fast xp with both. It is not really a fair comparison, thats why I said the reasons why both are better in their own ways.

The whip needs 70 attack and the axe needs 70 attack and str. So probably use the whip first unless you keep attack and str even.
