Okay. That's my first guide here,so take it easy,most of the ways I'll Interdouce below,might be known already to you,I will try listing the most easy ways to make cash,without combat requirments,only skill levels.

What is GP?

Yes,thats a pretty silly question,for some of you,but,just for people that dont know,which I have no idea how they dont!? GP=Golden Pieces. That's how the currency of RsC (Runescape Classic) was called.
In Rs2 the currency is simply,coins,simple golden coins.
Coins get into the money from these:

1. Alchemy Spell. (Turns items into cash)
2. Monster Drops. (Most of the monsters will drop Coins)
3. Monster Drops that are sold to the shop. (Example; You killed a goblin,and gotten a goblin mail,you head to the shop,and sell it for around 16GP,you've just got 16gp into RuneScape.
4. Quests. (Rewards)
5. Any item you sell to the shop.

Coins appear in trades like this:

1-99,000 coins will appear with a normal number. example; 4567 coins...
100,000-9,999,999 coins will appear as (k{1000}) example; 100k,200k,500k..
10,000,000 coins will appear as (M {million}) example; 10m,50m,100m...

Well,I never saw over the 600m range in a trade,so I do not know about higher amounts. unless someone wants to tell. No pic no proof


What Do we need it for?

That's Simple,it's nearly,impossible to reach The 500 total level in RuneScape without using golden coins,you need them to purchase tools off shop,need them to buy armor and weapons for fighting,food for healing and so on. Coins can also be used to buy items from other people in the game,using the trade function. They will ask for a certian price,you will put the amount in the trade window,both accept,both happy.


How to obtain the first GPs?

Okay,you are now a level 3. with the items from tutorial island. if you are hungry for money,sell your tutorial island items to the correct shops,example;

Shortbow; Ranging shop in varrock.
Runes; Rune shop in varrock.
Arrows; Ranging shop in varrock.

And so..

Keep your sword and shield to protect yourself,along with the regular items from the island. and go do quests,you don't have to use guides,but they are helpful for New-Players.

Buy armor ONLY from players,not from shops,since they charge too much coins for a 'lame' iron platebody. You can try getting the ores needed off the shop in the dwarven mine,pick it up off Power-Miners,and try trading for the armor. but dont buy from shops. or you'll get poor pretty fast.

Kill Chickens and cows,probably the best way to make cash in low levels,at non members world the feathers can be sold up to 7gp each and the hides up to 150gp each. so you can make a pretty fast profit,(considered to your level) from that.

Making Cash with skills.

Here you go,the category you was waiting for,probably scrolled down to see this,I'm going to list the MOST profitable skills to make cash,with combat,and without combat,focusing on the non-combat ones.

1. Runecrafting=

My Favourite Skill to make cash,huge amounts of cash,considered to the exp,you'll find yourself pretty weak at the skill,compared to all the cash you've been making. There are the best runes to craft for cash:

Natures:

Method 1. The Shop method,in Karamja Jungles,Wear a Nature Tiara,take some coins (Not all your cash! some people lost 2m doing that!) pouches (if you got some) Noted Rune Essence,and wear a dueling ring on you,incase you've been poisoned by the Aggressive Spear wielding guy,(forgot his name x.X)

Method 2.

Using Ancient Magick,my favourite,first,you need to finish the quest 'Desert Treasure',Then you need to get yourself runes for the teleportion,I Recommend making your own Laws and getting fires by killing Dustdevils\Lesser Demons\Fire giants.

Here's what you should carry and wear:

Wear: Any type of dragonhide armor,since all the Pkers near the tellyspot are mages,trying to TB (TeleBlock) you. Wield an airstaff. (saving the Airs from the teleport) Wear metal boots,Any gauntlets\gloves,Ring Of life,and a Defence Amulet,or a Gnome Protection Amulet.

Carry: All the pouches you can use,since they are really helpful. (DON'T FORGET TO FILL THE POUCHES WITH ESSENCE BEFORE GOING!)
Rune Essence.
Teleportion Runes: Since you are carrying air staff,you'll need only these runes for the teleport (paddewwa Teleport); 1 fire,2 laws.
Carry a x2 amount of laws than fires. example; 10 fires,20 laws.


1. Fill the pouches,take the needed equipment,take essence,and head north of Edgeville bank.
2. Right click the zamorakian mage,and 'teleport'. you'll find yourself at the Abyss. Find the quickest way to get into the inner ring,using the 'confuse eyes' option or the 'squeeze throught Grip' since they dont need extra-equipment.
3. You'll find yourself at the 'inner ring',now,find the Nature rift,and pass thru it. craft the essence,empty your pouches* and craft the essence from the pouches.
4. Teleport to Edgeville Dungeon using the Paddewwa teleport,climb the ladder,go to bank. and repeat.

*Your pouch will get damaged after a while,talk to the Dark Mage in the inner ring to get it fixed (free).

2. Fishing:

It has been turned to the almost,biggest moneymaking skill since the release of the 'cook X' option,now people pay more for raw sharks,which fish faster than chopping magics. sell for same amount.

How to get my fishing to 76? (for sharks)

1. Fish Everything you can untill 40 fishing.
2. only at 40 start with harpoon fishing untill 50.
3. only at 50 start fishing lobsters untill 60.
4. at 60 buy like 10k feathers,and go powerfish at Shilo. (fishing,putting fish in bank,fishing,banking,repeat.)
(--Fly fishing--)
5. And at mighty 76,fish sharks,to make a living.

3. Woodcutting:

Not recommended for cash,but its fairly easy to level,alot more than fishing.

1.Chop normal logs untill 30 woodcutting,sell the logs 70gp each.
2. Chop willow logs untill 60 woodcutting,sell the logs 40gp each.
3. Chop yew logs untill 75 woodcutting,sell the logs 300gp each.
4. Chop magics and sell the logs 1000 to 1100gp each. *

*Magics are really slow,if you are too unlucky,you can be there 25 minutes untill you finish 1 load. and magics doesnt get faster when you get your levels up,unlike fishing.

4. Mining.

What can I say,mining,rune ores,best cash for low levels. Here you go,how to get 85,the most boring skill to get 85 in,but profitable after.

1-15 Just do copper and tin.
15-60 Power mine iron with a rune pick (mine,drop,mine,drop)
60-85 You can continue powermining iron,which won't get you a profit,but will be a lot faster,and you can mine coal at the Mining Guild,which will get you some profit,and the exp,but will take a lot longer.
85-99* Mine Rune ores at Wilderness (if you are non member) or at the Hero's Guild (if you are a member),switch worlds each time you've mined the rune.

*as before,powermining iron will get you to 99 alot faster,but you went for the rune ores didnt you?

5.Fletching.

Altho I have 87 fletching,it Didnt bring in good cash,but can be profitable in the long run.;

1-70. Chop the wood to make bows\shafts untill you can make willow longbows,then stay on willow longs and chop the logs untill 70. (about 16k logs)
70-85. Buy the yew logs 300gp each. Strings 130 each. And now you got 2 options;

1. Sell the longbows made,570each.
2. Buy natures and alch. Which Brings in Exp,but less profit. 768gp-nature.

768Gp (yew long alch) - 300gp (nat) - 130gp (string)-300gp (log)=38gp profit.

If you sell the bows you make 140 profit per bow. without the magic exp.

85-99. do excatly the same with magic longs.just that magic longs doesnt sell good,so you'll have to alch them,altho now,you make almost the same profit like yew longs,get higher exp,And getting the option to get the magic exp (with only like 40gp less than yew long's selling price)

Buy the logs for 1kea
Buy the strings for 130ea
Buy the nats for 300gp ea.

1536 (alch cash)-1000-130-300= 106gp

6.Smithing.

Not a Very good money bringer untill 88+ smithing (full adamants)

I'll write the best method to make exp with a fair profit.

1. Buy Rings of Forging off the shop in Zanaris market and enchant them.
2. Buy iron ores 100gp each.
3. Smelt the ores.
4. Make knives off the bars.
5 knives per barx30gp per knife=150gp (150-100=50) 50 gp profit per ore. I'm not counting in the rings since you can make them on your own.

I Don't Recommend using the cannonballs method,they have been proven better than the knives,but knives are ALOT easier to sell. trust me.

7. Crafting.

Altho I'm not expirienced in that. I'll give you a few hints how to make cash,it Includs combat,if anyone could fix that part of my guide,he'll have a place in the Credits.

1. Kill Green Dragons.
2. Take their bones and hides.*
3. Bank them.
4. Tan the hides after you've gotten a large amount.
5. Craft into Vambraces\Chaps\Bodies,depends on your crafting level.
6. High Alch them.

I've heard its a pretty good profit,if you have a fair combat.

* you can sell the dragon-bones on the Misc forums for 2500gp each,or in world 2 Fally East bank.

8. (NEW!)Herblore- Written by 'Majoor Robo'

"Herblore is one of the best money makers, especially when you're above level 30. First kill 100 Chaos Druids, they will give you around 100 unid herbs, ID them ALL, don't hold the guam's etc unid for selling, its wasting of exp.

You'll get like:

30 Guam Leafs (sell for 400-500 each) is 15000 GP
20 Marrentills (sell for 350-450 each) is 8000 GP
15 Tarromins (sell for 600-800 each) is 11000 GP
10 Harralanders (sell for 1.1k each) is 11000 GP
8 Ranarr Weed's (make prayer pots, 6000 each) is 42000 GP
7 Irit Leaf's (sell 1.5k each, or make pots and sell for same) is 10000 GP
And some other high level herbs, keep the ones you can't Identify, you'll need them later!!

Sell Harralander and lower, and make potions out the others. Always buy the vials in Ardougne General Store for 12 gp each (usually 100/500 in stock) and buy them 200-250 each when you're high-leveld herblore (high leveled herblore is like 50 usually) because no-one knows that herblore is one of the most easiest skill to raise."

COMBAT INCLUDING SKILLS:

Slayer:

Yep,the only,the mighty,Slayer,the only Combat skill to make cash off (I Do not count ranged and magic in).

Here are the 3 ways to make cash with it.

1. Kill Gargoyles. (Drops: half keys,half shields,mauls,black mystic tops,level 3 clues)
2. Kill Nechrayels (Drops: Half keys,half shields,Rune boots,mauls.)
3. Kill Abyssal Demons (Drops: Half keys,half shields,dragon medium helmets,and Abyssal Whips)

List of the profitable items from slayer:

Half keys- 40k
Half shields- 4.1m
Mauls- 100k
Black mystic tops- around 300k.
Rune boots- 320k
Dragon Meds- 1.1m
Abyssal Whips- 4.4m

(--All the prices are updated on the date of 20\9\05--) I will update that.

Staking:
_-_-_-_-_

You have to know the ways of the runescape combat,know what weapons to use on what armors,what armors to use on what weapons,what stats to get,which potions to use,and so..I never had a fair stake..So I can never explain you how to do it..if anyone got a staking character guide. Let me know.

Merchanting

The best way to make cash Except Staking.
You've probably heard throught your gameplaying these two sentences:
1."Buy low Sell High"
2."Supply and Demand"

Now I will translate them x.X

1. That's merchanting...
2. That's the effects that cause you to make cash on merchanting. which I will explain in a short time...

Okay,I have no recommends on what items to merchant with,probably everything.

The trick is selling items that people want to get rid of fast,when they sell cheap,and move to a place when people need it a lot more badly. that's the simple method:

. Buy Cooked Sharks at world 2 Fally east bank for 800ea. Sell for 900-1000ea at Edgeville Bank in a Pking World.

Okay,now I'll give you an example,of how to get the big cash with merchanting. I'll give you an example of the past week. Last week,as you know,Full Veracs+Flail have been sold for 6.5m,almost no one wanted them,no one knew how useful it can be to get Dragon Chains,After they realised,you can see that Dragon Chains dropped from 33m to 30m. and Full veracs are now..8.3M! If you could predict what will happen,looking at the other folders of the RuneScape Forums,you could see that a LOT of people started posting Fake And Real (usually real) Logs of KQ (kalphite queen) Hunting, On their list,you could see that people have found over 10 chains out of 300 queens. thats a pretty good cash for them,no? now,more people wanted to join to that party,and started to buying veracs,but what happens when people just dont have anymore veracs for sale,or just want to keep it for their selfish greedy chain supplier monster? the demand grows,and still there is no supply! and it grew,grew,grew over all the week. and now they are going to continue growing untill..something will happen..and the hunters will have their Veracs,and then what happens? ((hint)) CRushInG time! the veracs will drop again to 6.6m and even less! Excatly as what happend with the santas,The trick is to buy alot of some item a day after its crush. (always watch the forums.) and then,patience..if you get a real good offer meanwhile,dont skip it! sell,you still make profit. after the item will continue growing slowly,you'll see how the cash comes in.

That's kinda the explaination of merchanting,the other method,is just pushing someone to sell an item really low,and sell higher!

It's actually a pretty solid guide, offering the tips those starting players need to reach their first riches. It tells of how to get the best prices for found items and how to build on basic money as well.

The merchanting guide could be a little more in-depth, but the earlier stage demonstrates how to get starting cash for merchanting/staking which is good.

Overall, nice guide that is helpful.

That is a good guide. It has a lot of detail. Probably better then those things that you can buy lol. I have firends that bought them and they say they suck.
