I think it's the opposite, they based Guthan armor off the picture of the warrior.

Yeah I kinda noticed that the first day also lol, expect the hemlet is off.. but still looks better then that one in the Menu, (the one in the game is better)

Ummm look nothing alike. That is a Dragon Spear for one and the armour looks like no armour in game that I have seen. It is like a leather skirt, umm kaza plate body but with spikes on the sholders. And the helm is like a med with the tail at the back. No armour looks like that.
