Yes im lvl 41. No im not a newb/noob.

To all of you disrespectful, inconsiderate, low-life, no-life, rediculously stupid lvl 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s who train at rock crabs:

I am not a noob, nor am I a newb. My combat lvl indeed is 41, however my range level and magic level is higher than yours. Now that we have established im 50 combats lower and 20 range levels higher, how does it make me a noob? Is it because I am training at rock crabs, lvl 13 crabs whom max out 1's and give off 200 xp each? Or is it because I have 500k more than you do in my bank? Why, please tell me why I am a noob and an idiot if Im 60 range and 60 magic while your still 45 magic and 13 range? Im so sick of just minding my own business up at rock crabs with public chat off and private chat on friends and then turning public chat on for just 1 miniscule second and see "Legolas4545: LIKE PMFG NOOB LVL 41" or "zezimas mom: OMFG NOOB GO AWAY DONT TRAIN HERE", Last time I checked I was here first, now, what did I do to deserve all this junk just for training here? Shouldnt YOU be training somewhere else? I mean for christ-sakes, if I had some defence I wouldnt train here, but you, your 70 defence and training on something that maxes 1?! And then you come and set up your cannon?! This my friends, is one of the main reasons why I hate the people in runescape and this is why I will most likely not get any of your messages if you see me up at rock crabs, cause the other noobs in runescape force me to play with public chat off.

I KNOW!!! i came across a level 14 the other day with like 0 armor and i gave him full iron (it made his day).....he's SOO nice! he is even promising to pay me back the full iron when he can afford it (aww iddint dat cute

) Point is, people disrespect the lower levels mroe than they should.....heck, i helped out a level 24 about.....a while ago, i dont really remember......i gave him 100 lobbies, 50 stews and a lot of apple pies telling him to "get ready, we're going to feast" i think it was around thanks giving....well, i looked him up the other day and his combat is 97! *i used a calculator to find out* he still looks up to me even though he's 20 levels higher than me! see, i believe that the reason there are so many *newbs* in the game is because no one is there to help them, i know the reason i'm so rich and powerfull in the game is because I WAS HELPED by about 20 people.......without them, i'd probably be some level 50 without a clue on what rune is...Point is, if you see a newb, dont make fun of him, dont tease him, dont lie to him about prices and stuff (yes, that means dont scam) and dont take advantage of him.....instead, help him out a little, and you might end up like me with a whole ***** of used-to-be-newb friends that are now in the 90's....trust me, it helps, they will give you anything you want....(well not really) if you ask cus without you in the first place, there would be no them. So take all this stuff into consideration and think about how you might be affecting some *newb*'s rs life/carreer. I have no ending for this so i shall take a small bow (adapted from George Carlin).

newb is based on knowledge and lvls

noob is based on attitude, because noobs are generally stupid, ignorant, pathetic, and are jealous of those of us who have higher lvls and more money..

there are many ways of looking at it.. thats the way i do..

if they call you a noob at rock crabs, they are just a noob themselves, lvl 90 having to train at rock crabs.

In my opinion, nothing should be based on levels. I have (well...had, he mysteriously disappeared

) a friend who was in the mid-level 40s in combat, yet he was a great person to talk to. I miss him deeply... Yes, he didn't know much about the game and was still training hard to get 50 combat - but that doesn't change how you should treat him. I see where you're coming from at judging who can be called a "newbie" by their levels and knowledge, but to me that seems stereotypical.

I've had some other people at the fishing guild get angered at someone who was level 60 combat and was winning a debate against a level 100...I told them that how you act takes priority over combat levels - of course, they didn't bother with a counter-arguement. Nothing but silence came from them.

People who call other people noobs are simply ego-maniacs, really. They have no way to back up their arguement, they just want to call someone a noob because it makes them feel superior.

Quite pathetic, if only those people would realize the error of their ways...

I told the leader and he said "shut up stop complaining."

Then 5 minutes later i said i was leaving the clan and they said "why? we won the war"

I was doing underground pass going for the dove. A lvl 67 said "I'll show you where it is" I said I'd rather do the quest on my own thanks anyway. From then on he called me a noob! I just wish I had done my comeback to him...

i think this is valuble info! i dont think a mod would do anything because this kind of info should be in a guide....hey..theres an idea...."what to do when your called a noob" guide. itll be about as good as some of the submissions ive seen on here and rune hq

I get called a noob in castle wars when I get killed, by a person who is like 30 lvls lower then me, and I'm teamed up by a bunch of people who have higher lvl's then me. It's so annoying. I made a pure recently, and I hate going on it. I get called a noob just for being a lower lvl then someone else.

Um... I train at Rock Crabs and talk with anyone. Thanks for sterotyping people. I meet a lot of my friends there and most of them ARE lvl 40 or 50. Unless they flame me ingame, then everyones fine and I dont insult anyone. So stop sterotyping people and grow up.

I hate people who are immature and call everyone noobs. Luckily I dont have to deal with it much on my main because I am 84 combat (It still happens occasionally though) but It still annoys me to see it happening to other people. I remember one day someone random pmed me and asked to be friends...they had just seen me walking in a bank on f2p. I said sure and they replied, "Omg, you are a high level and you actually talked to me, I didnt think you would" (We are now good friends) I think it is bad when higher levels ignore newer players and I dont like the bad reputation that higher level players get based on all of those that are jerks.
