Katanas for RS?

I was thinking that RS should add in katanas...I know a lot of people that like katanas, and it would add in a little more flavor to the weapons

If they could just get the weapons to be used like they really are (take a look at the spears...)...but thats a whole different suggestion...

No,for one reason it would be just another weapon and I for one dont want another weapon I want some new things(skills,more items to craft,smith something like that now weaps

)but then maybe I might depending if it where like a year before they were released then it don't sound like such a bad idea.Well there's my two sense

Katanas are cool, but I'll stick to my trusty Dragon Battleaxe. It'll be a waste of an update, I'd rather see new dragon weapons.

IMO it will probably be with the unused weapons like the mace, claws, and daggers

In the ghost port city in Members (name escapes me at the moment)
There is a rather Japanese looking fellow who HAS a katana.

This has lead many to believe that Jagex will eventually add
an "Eastern" style area of the game. For those of you who
prefer being a ninja as to a knight, this'll be for you.

Also, the reason Jagex told people to stop suggesting
things like that is because someone does it every week :roll:

You'll see repeated suggestions pop up every month,
regardless if it's on the "do not suggest" list.

sounds like a cool idea..there are many unused weapons in rs but there are the select few who chose to be different and use them. i think it would be popular when it first came out then become a aquired taste just like the claws and other things

What about d mace and dagger,i own alot of higher lvl people in duel arena with d dagger (p)
