Maul upgrade, feed back please

i was thinking...the way we use the maul, even cavemen know how to use it better.

notice that we have the Granite maul...primitive weaponry of course..but deadly in the right hands. Weighing in at 8 lbs, attached to a long stick (when swinging, gives the head the most force as by centrifugal force[that feeling you get when you hit a high speed roller coaster curve, all your body hifts to one side]) has +81 to crush, and +79 to strength. this is a fearsome weapon indeed, included with it half bar dran special, a quick, inaccuate swing that does a fair amount of damage.

this last part is what so many..dare i say it...duel noobs got uptight about. they didnt have the attack/cash to weild a maul, so what do they do? they gripe about it, in turn lowering its max damage.

this seems extremely wrong, seeing as a large rock on a stick, swung at about 30 MPH, sideways, would crush in someones armour, possibly cripping them if hit right.

for this reason people complained thet they did not like getting 3 hit in a duel, losing out to the guy who geniously staked a high amount weilding a addy battle, with maul and drag dagger in reserve.had they thought it over..they would have realized this is too good to be true, but they were blinded by greed.

now our mauls..that we paid 500k+ for..are underpowered, all because people dont liek specs...my solution? a new spec, returning the maul to its original glory.

now..the maul was not overpowered to begin with. costing half a million, heaviest weapon, making it slow as or even slower than a hally, with a half bar drain special that makes a fast, inaccurate but powerful swing, this weapon was accually lacking. but with my proposal, the maul will finnaly be worth the price.

Instead of a quick, sideways, half drain special, i say a full drain, over the head, huge blow smash. this special would make short work of some, and a good finisher for pkers and duelists.

you may be thinking "alright...wtf? thats way too much" but look at it..inaccurate because aiming an 8lb weight attacked to a stick taller than you and holding it at the base of the handle would be inaccurate, but effective when you do hit home. so why not? if i get enough positive feedback from this..ill submit it to jagex.

please vote, give feedback, or even give your thought on how to make the maul what it realy is..A GIANT ROCK ON A STICK!!!!

Id thougt about buying a maul but i dint find someone who whanted to sell it for 200k and a black body g and black helmet g,you know that rs isnt realistic dont you?a abbysal whip or runite never existed,so why should the maul be realistic?i dont know anything about it so i didnt vote

maybe not 1 hit k.o but it makes it more accurate and does slightly more damage

Hmm i think the spec should just be like drag long.. with still the 2 uses of the maul spec..

The reqirements was though but the power was too high. Just think of the old ties as a bug.

Arggg you are all not understanding this. A level 50 can use this weapon it is MEANT TO BE A LOW LEVEL WEAPON. They should NOT have the power to three hit a level 80! It's just silly. The spec was weakend and now the maul is what it's supposed to be a low lvl weapon meant for use on other low lvls.

Maybe something similar to the dragon scimitar special, It can maybe stun you for 1 round or something so it would/could be a good running away wep. But thats my opinion.

how do you know it's "supposed" to be a low level weapon, i mean sure the requirements to weild it arent that high but 75 slayer to get them without buying? thats fairly high i think. and if your only going by the requirements to weild then well, a level 80 should be able to use a whip, in which case the level 50 wont have time to hit you, he'll be too focused eating.
