Cuz people filled the rant section of the forums cuz they were on vacation and some people said that they were defending their country in a war(yeah right... :roll:

) when holiday events occured....so they didnt have the chance to get drops. Jagex dont want that to happen ever again.

Why do people have to spoil other people's fun? and they're only worth like 20k when they come out anyways :evil:

You have to understand, back then Runescape didn't have alot of money. They had very limited High Elchers because there weren't enough runes because of no RuneCrafting. 20k was alot back then, even if it was only that low at the very start. Think of 20k back then being around like 200k nowadays.

Now everyone is high elching and there is massive amount of currency pouring into Runescape.
