Choosing your 3 death items...

at first i thought oh wow what a great idea! but now that ive thought about it more its really quite crap. the wildy is there for people who like to take risks and see what happens if you know what i mean. pking is a risky buissness because you never know if you will end up losing more than you get. people who go into the wildy know what comes with it (and are also warned of it) so if they want to go into the wild with rares and full drag etc and die then its really their own fault. in my opinion dont take with you what you dont want to lose, no matter what it is.

No, I don't agree, because its your own choice to bring rares or valuebles to the wild.

ok let me try to explain this...

the current system ALREADY trys to give you the 3 most valuable items. but it horribly fails at it because the game doesnt really know whats valueable. so this would sort of enhance that system.

i train at the pirate hut in the deep wild. i bring a rune plate, dragon dagger, lockpick, and lobbies. it took me forever to find someone that would let me buy a lockpick. so my plan is to eat all my food as i need it and if i get pked to get rid of all the food so that i can keep the plate, dagger, and lockpick. but i got pked by a super high lvl and didnt have time to get rid of my food. so i ended up in lumby with a plate, dagger, and 1 lobster. very very very annoying. if the game wants to give me the 3 most valuable items, i might as well tell it what i want!

well thats how i see it...

this is kinda weird, different people on different forums have different opinions. everyone on the runescape forums love it, everyone on here hates it, everyone on runevillage has mixed opinions, and everyone on rune hq doesnt even respond.

It is supposed to work like this. If you bring rares into the wild you have a greater chance of losing them. This is how the system works.

i think its an iffy idea...everyones right.ive heard that mystic tops are soposed to be more valuable then abby whips...so in that sense its great. BUT theres almost no point in pking if you have that. you choose what you take to the wild so if you lose it its your fault.

The system is working perfectly fine. You are not supposed to get the three most valuable items in the player economy's opinion, but how they are valued in the game. Jagex will leave it as it is, and will NEVER act out with an idea like this, it just makes no sense.
