Warren, that would also unbalance the combat triangle. Because you'd have your so called "defenders" up front, taking the blows from the enemy while mages and rangers from afar, knock down the enemy.

You know, not everything new will unbalance the triangle. :P
Maybe it's time the triangle expanded?
besides, defenders can defend all they want, but if they're not being attacked then they're useless.

Anyway, Warren has a point, maybe the support skill type could come in handy in times when you're in the wilderness training agility, or doing a clue, or perhaps even just exploring.

I think introducing agility into combat would be good, for example: your energy decreases slower, and it regenerates faster. The speed of whichyour special attack regenerates, your speed of attack, your ability to dodge and things like that.

I like the resistence and Defender type suggestions. (Since i'm a guy who likes defense in every game)

Resistence would be like for resisting mage spells. (Wow the lvl 99 ancient mage can't hit me, why? I have full karils and 99 resistence, pwned...) Lol, it would be an interresting addition.

And with the defender suggestion that would make clans recruit more people. And people like me who would have a high lvl defender would be called uber def nubs (Why can't I hit you? Maybe because I have 99 defense and defender and i'm wearing full torag with D square and...I get the point already.)

They would be interresting additions, and they could make the make cb lvl move up to 140 or so.

Not really, reflexes would mean shorter casting times and faster shots from bows.
Besides, high levels only use melee anyway. XD

Dead, dead, dead wrong. Most use hybrid styles of mage/warrior or mage/ranger. Not many a pure warrior, mage, or ranger.

They are still using mage/range/meelee as there attack.

It wouldn't matter since its the speed of the thing.

If Jagex is to make a new combat skill I hope it's an extension to prayer that allows player to use attack prayers.

ANGER LVL! Its my own idea. its like dharoks. have 0 anger just walking around, but if u have 60 hp, and u have 5, than ur anger lvl will go up
(the left lvl) and ull get angrier. u get 1 anger lvl for every 5 hp u lose, so if u have 90 anger, and have 10 hp out of 90 than u will have 16 anger. For everty anger u will hit 0.4 more.

If u have half or above anger, you can click on a second bar below special, and have these effects.

Melee- Yell "Rrr....raargh...RAAAAAAARGH" and smash the enemy on the skull (two hander) or quickly stab in the guts. (1 hander)

Mage- yell same thing, and shoot a HUGE fireball.

Range- yell, and pull the arrow back REALLY FAR. Then it will shoot HARD.

If u use a ANGER BAR, than u hit 1 more than max for every lvl above half. so if u have 40/70 anger, and ur max hit is 30, than u will hit 35.
Note: you have just as much chance of hitting a 0 as normal attacks!

Btw, would it matter ur lvl? yes, because it helps normal attack, as explained in my paragraph.

RRR..RAAARGH....RAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGHHHHHH

Something to allow you to parry an opponent's attack.
