What about weapons for level 90 in attack or something, that would be cool. Currently the highest weapons are for level 70, like the whip or barrows stuff. How about level 80 and 90? Higher level prayers too, like for level 80 maybe.

What I'd like to see is a skill update. I mean, what was the last firemaking update? or farming or mining? I haven't seen one update for some skills, and it really annoys me.

I like the lvl 80 or 90 attack idea. Although the price would be insance and whips would crash..

They should make monsters who give bigger rewards that only lvl 100+ combat people could fight. I'm only 89 combat but this kind of update would make me want 100+ combat :)

Pest control lvl 40's can do.
The fire cape lvl 51's can get.
The last higher level update was barrows which good lvl 70's can do.

Level 40's can do pest control, so what? Can they do it well enough to get points? Not really. Low and high levels benifit from it, which is more important than just high levels.
Level 51's can get fire capes, so what? Level 120s struggle. It must of been hell for the 51's. Fire capes arn't for high/low levels, there for people who can concentrate.
The last higher update wasn't barrows, theres been others. Updates that everyone can benifit from are the good ones. Construction was good, and if you want, for high levels, though low levels can do it. But ussually higher levels are the people who can afford it.

Stop asking for high level updates, most games don't get weekly updates in the first place. Go complain to those people to give weekly updates. No one has "beaten" the game get. You need to have done/completed everything in the game to beat it. The game is unbeatable though, because you can always beat your best score in a mini game/ etc. It doesn't even need new updates.

Ok then, I get where you're coming from, but what was the last update that really had something in it for higher levels?

Well every quest that comes out gives quest points. Quest points give you more time in Tears of Guthix. I think high levels do tears of guthix, or they should. Graphical updates, sound, etc. benifit everyone. Lots of "high" levels liked the dragons. The improved dragon axe. That benifits high leveled woodcutters. The charter ships can benifit high levels. The ranged and mage prayers benifit high levels, though I agree they should be higher level prayer to use them. The Lunar spells benifit high levels. The magic secateurs can benifit high levels who farm. Game engine updates benifit high levels. The Swan Song island benifits high levels. Recipe of Disaster with the dark gloves benifit high levels. Warrior's Guild benifit high levels with the rune defender. Hand in the sand- 84 buckets of sand a day. Holiday updates are kind of fun... even for high levels. The champion challenge benifits high levels. Tool sheds benifit high levels. Waterbirth Island expansion with the Daggnoth kings... benifit high levels. Mage Training Arena... Benifits high levels with bones to peaches, etc. Bank PINs... benifit high levels. Cook X... benifits high levels. Gnome shortcuts... benifit high levels. Magic carpets and transportation... benifit high levels.

I'll stop there. Though many of these don't just benifit only high levels, but lower levels to, which is good.

Why would they intentionally strive to please people who play for a full two weeks before quitting? Where's the profit in that?

Higher-level updates are less frecuent and farther apart... why? Because there are less higher levels than lower levels, so they please the masses the most, before making an update that only a smaller percentage of the population can do.

Do you want them to release a minigame that 9/10 of the game's players can't play? How does this help them?

And when Jagex releases things that higher levels can do, like skills (such as farming and construction), many opt not to because it isn't combat related... and many higher levels neglect other skills and soley train combat, which is why they became higher level in the first place (because that's all they did) [of course, this doesn't apply to you, Creepy]

As far as skilling goes, I'm pleased with the skills since RS2 has been released. All of them have been original and differ from the simple 'click and click and click' method.

Runecrafting
Slayer
Farming
Construction

:)

But I still would like to see more complex skills added into the game.

I would agree with this, but those items/weapons/armors then can be used ONLY by those that can obtain them. 8)

Allowing all the kiddies the opportunity to have a whip if they have enough money was a bad idea. :x

of course, because, really, they mainly care about the money they are getting, not as much the ppl that play.

they like the people who make multiple characters members, then quit.

Just because one level 51 pure managed to complete Fight Caves doesn't mean ALL level 51 players can.

Only experienced hardcore pures can.

Just because the minimum requirement is level 40 for Pest Control doesn't mean ALL level 40 players can actually do them.

They're a bunch of leeches.

Just because the Barrows require a Protect from Melee prayer and mage equips doesn't mean ALL low levels can survive.

Only those ready to face the dangers can.

Although I'm not a high level, I do agree they need something, something that pures can't do, like a certain few levels to enter a new guild...?

Err, wee?

Not all lvl 40's can do PC, but the average one can. A lvl 50 doing Fire Cape is obvoisuly hard, but it has been proven possible.

Btw, I love the skill capes, unfortuantely i cant get one. :s
