THIS is my rant on BEGGERS in F2P

I only wear my whip when i go to trade with a friend. I have it in P2P almost always, so i don't bother to take it off.
I didn't know that rule about flooding the text box existed... I could've reported a lot of people for begging

Flooding aside, the guy had evaded the censor to say a word. When the censor blocks a word, it's offensive. Plus he was harassing another person nonstop. Harassing other users isn't allowed either.

But both are mild offensives. I doubt he'd even get a black mark.

I hate beggers. I get them where ever I go. What I've basically learned to do is either ignore them (I have to clear my ignore list just about every month - yes, it does get that full) or tell them to go work for money.

If it doesn't work and it gets out of hand, I'll report them for offensive language.

The rule about flooding the chat window is meant for people who are going "Asdf asdkfjsdf sdlfjskdfjs" repeatedly causing your chat window to be bumped with their useless garbled words. Reporting a person for begging is not only ineffective, it's just a waste of time. Your version of what "Spamming/flooding the chat window is to fill the chat window with unnecessary text" may not meet Jagex's criteria of spam.

And also.. with the amount of time you spend typing their name in the report box, you could be ignoring them and/or tele-ing away.

Face the fact that there are people in the world who don't want to work for anything. They exist online and offline.

yes there are beggers, and when the beg, there flooding, so theres reasons to report, you have proved a point very well, yes i get beggers but not as much *pray for P2P*

About the 'don't wear stuff' comment. I still get asked for stuff despite wearing nothing 90 percent of the time.

Learn to live with it is my answer i blank most people now it works fine.

i dont really have beggars when i go to f2p...but i like to go there because i like to show off my d legs...d med....whip....veracs brass....obby shield...obby cape and stuff lol.....i get mostly people that say "wow you're cool/rich"....not many beggars though

When someone begs me for items I usually tell them that it's considered noobish to beg. Might even give them a tip. If they persist I'll ignore them.

I know, it is so annoying. All these 8-10 years olds think that 1337 will get them whatever they want (And no, I don't wear expensive stuff to F2P). I usually just add to my ignore list, then take them off about 15 minutes later.
