'Making' boots?!?

it would be cool to make boots

I think thats an interesting find, but i don't think it would be a very good update. It would be one of those "we have nothing better to do" updates...

woh, after they release that and drag smithing some peeps will be able to make drag boots :shock:

Direct linking doesn't work, but copy & paste does. But, holy sweetness! That would be just great! If it only worked for non-members too.

I think it should work out fine if they bring boots into the smithing tables, but they might have to give slayer monsters something else to drop that'll be a rare type of armor. Plus, I would've expected to see pickaxes make the table before boots. Ah well.

Here's the blood talisman, by the way.

And the Soul Talisman. Similar to finding those smithing interfaces. Get the address to the sprite of the talisman and replace the type. I wonder what other secrets we can find?

Well I don't think this will change much in the difference between Slayer and Smithing. If they DID add boots to the smithing tables, it'd be just as hard to attain that level as it were in Slayer. So there's no real difference. (Rune boots in smithing would be about 91 up, Rune boot drop is 80 Slayer.)

Plus, I would imagine they wouldn't allow the boots to be directly made from the smithing table, they would probably allow you to make a metal plating for leather boots.

And yeah, they don't allow direct linking because they make sure people don't have direct links to worlds. Otherwise it'd be extremely easy to get onto worlds. (A.K.A, get onto world 2 login screen without going through the whole interface.)
