they do do IP bans, hence why they took one look at my brother's autoed noob accounts and banend all other accounts used on that IP, which in turn banned me, i have sent about 8 ban appeals now, and all they are doing is sending me auto-messages, it sounds like a stupid thing to do but this is how much i value my rs account, i am thinking of maybe trying to pay them a visit, anybody know their HQ?

no, i didnt auto any of my accounts, i only have 2 (one pure i started but never use) and i would never auto my main, it means too much to me now i've finally managed to make a bit of money

my brother has sent many ban appeals from one of his "noob accounts" and the only replies i had are about 7 automessages, i've been nice with them but if they arent willing to actually read my appeals i'm not really willing to cooperate

thanks for the comments tho guys, and if you think of anything i could include in a future appeal, please tell me, or has anybody ever been unbanend after a wrong ban for macroing? if so PLEASE POST HERE so i have a bit of hope

They can't effectively IP ban you. Period.

Jagex OWNS this game.

They can do whatever they want with it, and if that means ban people, it's their choice.

There's nothing you can do to change that, except buy out Jagex. (are they for sale? =O)

I believe they have a HQ in cambridge, but you should look in the phone book if you want the exact address.

Also, I dont think jagex has stocks... they ARE a limited company. Besides, this is seriously off topic

to the creator of this topic: meh, jagex makes mistakes in banning, but most of the time they just let rulebreakers pass. You just had a serious bit of bad luck.

I knew that this would happen. There are always a few mistakes when mass bans are made like this. I'm sure if you claim is legit you will get it back. Still I like the move by Jagex I'm pretty sure 99% of the bans were legit just a few random coincidences got caught up in the mass. Good luck on getting your account back.

There is realy no way to bann using ip, and here is way.
If you are using dile-up I might be getting diffrent ip each login.......if you are in a house with a server for a website (like me) if they bann my computer ip,they bann my brother and my sister too.!

Jagex had software that detected macroes, it's not there fault.

thanks for the comments guys, and what i mean by IP ban is ban all accounts CREATED on that IP (thats what it seems to be), so that included my brothers 5 auto accs :evil:

and his main (he deserves the ban) and my main and work in progress pker, the WIP acc i dont care, but my main i really want, it had so much good stuff

yeah, an old army punishment for people who tried to flee the war, they tied them up and stood em up, then 5 ppl fired, but only 1 has a bullet in their rifle so nobody knows who killed him, unless of course only one person fires
