I'm a girl. In RS and in REAL life.

I'm sort of tomboy, and for this reason I dont like skirts, neither in real life nor RS. What makes me mad is that because of this reason, people say I'm a boy and they start with their annoying insolts. I like dark evil things (as you can see in my sig) but that dosent mean I'm a boy. I never played with dolls, I never liked them. But that dosent mean I'm a boy.

I do know that alot of guys play as girls for the reason of free stuff. I dont do that. I actually met a guy, he was rich I would say (with full dragon and all that stuff). I became to know him very well and I quite liked him. After a while he asked me out. What was the first thing I said? "If I tell you yes, that dosent mean I'm after your money. I dont want anything from you eccept your affection." If you hear something like that from a girl then look very closely. She might be saying the truth. But yes, be careful, there are some girls/guys who know how to play it very well like that.

Ah, topics remind me of this story quite frequently. I was walking
on my way from Seers to Falador, and where the road meets I run
into this level 74 guy bugging this level 56 girl saying, and I quote:
"If you have (I think you know...) with me I'll give you full rune."
I promptly told the runt to shut up and leave her alone or else I would
report him. He said "Lol! I was joking! sheesh!"...I still reported him.

I have had an incident where a higher level "girl" (me 90, her 94) tried
to, shall I say, "convince" me into giving her my snakeskin armor.
So, yeah, I flamed her, it's pathetic. "hey babes..." I mean come on!

I have as many lady RS friends as I do guy friends. I have had a number
of people come up to me saying "you're cute" "I like your ___ (something
I was wearing at the time  ) Usually I just ignore them and they
go off in pursuit of others. The sad thing is many times a girl who pays
attention to you is just a guy, or maybe a girl, who wants your stuff.

I don't have a "gf" in runescape, mainly due to the sporadic amounts of
time I spend playing RS. Also, I think it's kind of lame, go ahead and
have a close friend who you help a lot! No problem, but to call them
your gf/bf?

It's alright, just make sure you have an idea what you're doing

Not too sure. I haven't tried. All I know is that Thrander should be brought back. He was useful. :)

Sorry if you were sarcastic but I'm not too perceptive in the morning....

Guys can wear plate skirts(and girls can wear plate legs)but guys look like idiots in plate skirts.

If you really like a person on runescape, for their personality, not their runescape character, is there really anything wrong?

I agree that people that get with others based on their level, or because they want free stuff from the person, is absolutly stupid. But I don't see anything wrong otherwise.

Either way, I am a male on runescape, and a male in real life.

I like having girls as friends on RS anyways, makes it more fun.

I speak on behalf of the girls that are actually girls in RL, that scabbing off other plays or changing your *** to a boy is disgusting, and not funny. Really, get a hold of yourself, I work for my items on rs. I'm not a lazy person who begs or gets items on their "gf/gf" and leaves them.

I think that GF/BF really has no place in the game and could drive short tempered people away. I know I don't enjoy being ask over and over again.

I've been reading this topic countless times, and now it's time I think I spoke. The point of this whole bf/gf thing is to build a better relationship with that person. (I.E. Talk more, be around them alot, give them stuff just plainly out of the blue.) Personally, I would have to think it is a good way to build a relationship, but sadly enough alot of people abuse this.

When I first started alot of people were asking for a gf/bf, and they were able to find one. The point of what those people do is to get free stuff out of the person. (usually lower levels will ask for a bf/gf just so they can get free stuff.) That is a major downside to the whole bf/gf matter. The point of Runescape is to overcome challenges, not to take the easy path and get free stuff.

Plainly it is okay if the whole matter doesn't involve asking for stuff for free. That isn't a point in the view of it.

i am a girl in rl and ingame. i started out a guy but as i went pking more and more often, i found that people swear and curse and insult girls less than guys. worst thing i've heard so far is "such it ho." i ignored it and owned him 8) .

but ya, i guess that the bf gf thing is a little weird. mostly i just hang out and talk with people while i'm training or fishing or something.
