Near Death Experiences

I personally have never had a near death experience, however, my brother who started playing RuneScape a year or so before myself has.

He was incredibly excited about getting RuneScape Membership, so, the first thing he did was go out exploring. He took out his coolest looking items, which included; a Santa Hat (worth 200k or so at the time). Before long, he found himself somewhere on Karmaja Island, he ventured further to find some Spiders which he curisouly attacked. Not long after this battle, did he find himself poisoned, foodless, lost and worried. His HP quickly deteriorated, both him and myself watched as the green colour on the health bar slowly became overwhelmed with the colour of red. He frantically clicked in an attempt to find safety, and realising that he would soon be beaten, he 'x'ed' out.
If you must know, he logged in an hour or so later and died; however, before he had logged out, it would have been considered a near death experience

Hmmm well recently my computer is going thru some serious lag spikes, and its really making me mad, so i goto the barrows, to try and chill my self out. I bring my normal gear which is full black hide, rune large, glory, wealth, mage short, whip, rune kite, slayer staff, and enough runes to cast 100 magic darts, oh and food. Well im lagging and i realize how dumb this is, but i stupidly continue. I get to the barrows and am about to venture into the tunnel to use my killing method (making the rats, leeches, or skellys block for you) and i get Verac, so im like oh great ill just exit and enter so i can get another monster to block for me. Well i exit and enter again and for some reason another verac pops out. Im like omg thats really freaky, so i go out and go back in for some strange reason, wham another verac. I was so freaked out so then i get the brilliant idea to try to kill them all and make something block for me. All of a sudden the 3 veracs team on me, wham 22-28-26 leaving me with 1 hp im like omg! about to cry, i make it out with 1 hp and my beloved ectophial saves me life again. The same thing happened yesterday with torag and dharok but i had a rat blocking for me so i killed them with ease, although dharock did hit a 32 on me while i was setting up

Oh and nick, what u should have done is logged on to your char, taken him to where your brother was going to die. Then have log back onto his, die then log back onto your and get the santa and anything else of value. Then since hes your bro give it back to him. or not whatever you feel like

near death experiences...yea i've had them.

my first real one was when i was one day theiving in ardougne castle and i notice a pair of level 70s in full rune skulled walking to the lever. thinking "oh what luck i have!" i rushed after them. the second i teleport a level 90 mage teleblocks me and binds me then his level 105 friend (with a whip) starts hitting fairly constant 20s, they chase me around for a while and i eventually make my way to that beautiful dungeon west of the mage arena. woot for fire giants, after about 20 minutes of fighting them i manage to log out while they're busy. had 2 sharks and no prayer left...was a very careful walk to the mage bank

i was on way back from killing hellhounds and was walkign back when i got poisoned by the spiders. I looked use an anti poison but i had forgotten 1. Then i look to tele and what do ya know no runes and ammy has no more charges. well i was running out figuring i could make it and a blue dragon use his fire breath on me and hits a 33... i got to the black knights and had 2 hp left and logged out. I quickly made a new account and added my best of friends on his buddy list. When 1 of them logged in I explained the situation and told him where i was. he told me he had made it there and when i logged back in he was there with an anti poison and some tuna. man was that close...

When I first joined members I was doing quests to learn my way around. I was doin Jungle Potion and on the guide it said to bring an anti but my herblore was still 3 and I decided to go anyway with no anti. I got attacked by a tribeman and got poisoned...I had no clue what to do and panicked...luckily a more experienced member took me to the boat to ardy and I had enough food in my bank to eek it out. If it wasnt for him I would have died lost in the jungle. I was wearing full rune which at lvl 56 or so seemed like a fortune to me.

Another time I was pkin with a friend and we ran into a clan of lvl 90+ (we were low 80s) around the rune rocks The leader called my name cause I was skulled in full rune but by some miracle I managed to escape through the trees (I dont remember how many hp I had left but it was close).

My last was today...I was ranging blue dragons and I didnt quite get in the safe spot right...the dragon breathed fire....I was sure I was a gonner...and by some miracle it hit a 0 with the fire. Never felt so lucky to see a zero hit.
