Energy and PrayerIntroductionDon't you hate it when while you're PKing, your opponent runs or just teleports away? Or do you want to train but you feel training is too boring, and you want to get some kills, too? Then PKing at the Rune Rocks is just right for you!
EquipmentWarriorPKing with full rune as a warrior is probably the strongest fighter out of the three. Even as a level 70, you can defeat a level +90.

In my opinion, I think that using a rune scimitar and a power amulet is best because hitting accurately is probably more important then hitting powerfully but inaccurately at the runite ores.
RangerPKing as a ranger is extremely good for chasing, because even if you're far away, you can still catch up by attacking from farther away, and you do not lose as much energy.

WizardPKing as a wizard is one of the best ways to kill rune miners with full rune armour, but wizards are extremely weak against some PKers with full dragonhide and lots of food. So I advise to you, if you're PKing as a wizard with magic as your strongest skill, then wear only wizard robes and a rune scimitar. But if combat skills are much stronger, then wear wizard's robes with rune body, legs, and scimitar.

When PKing with magic as a lower skill, you should use earth blast, because in my opinion, it is more accurate and can save two spaces, compared to the fire blast. Also, instead of using rune plate, rune chain is good, because if you're fighting one on one, then you can keep a rune chain on while attacking, and it will take away less magic attack bonus.
RoutesHere is a small version of the two routes you can take to the runite ores without being attacked on the way:
World SwitchingMultiple FilesWhen you change worlds, and your computer is fast, then there is a delay: "Your profile will be transfer in ... seconds." The solution to that is to have two files, a lower level pure and your main file. So you should change worlds with your noob, and then your main file. This way, if you find a really low level rune miner, you can use your noob.
SafelyChanging worlds safely is extremely important. The number one tip to changing worlds safely is knowing which worlds you switch to are safe.
These worlds are bad to PK on:
Worlds that lag for you are also bad. The reason you should not go to those worlds is because:
- You would not find any rune miners there, its too scary for them.
- Clans are often on those worlds.
Fast ComputerWhen you use a fast computer that shows the screen right away when you log in, then log in right by the runite ores.
Picture:
Medium-Speed Computer
This is for normal speed computers: when you log in, you should log in at the non-double red spiders, or north of the runite ores.

Slow Computer
If your pc is really laggy, then you should log in way west of the red spiders.
Picture:
Also, if you do not feel like switching worlds, you do not have to. You can just wait at a world with runite ores that is not mined and train at the red spiders.
FightingWhen you see someone, always use your prayer and strenght pot while you fight them, do not worry about your prayer, you can always recharge at the alter.
Higher levelsWhen PKing at the runite ores, no matter what, unless your combat level is really high, you will encounter a miner or PKer higher level then you. If you find a higher level miner then your in luck, but if the PKer is way higher level then you then your out of luck. So if you see a higher level rune miner, I mean someone only 1-30 levels higher then you then attack them, if you have a full inventory of food.
IF YOUR LIKE COMBAT LEVEL 50 OR 60, THEN DO NOT FIGHT A RUNE MINER THAT IS LIKE AROUND 80 WITH FULL RUNE, UNLESS YOU KNOW YOU CAN HIT HIM. At first when they fight against you, they will be eating a lot and probably ownining you. But after a while, like 4-8 lobsters, they have no food left and start to run.
ChasingYou may be able to have found a rune miner and you may have defeated him or her but all that goes to the trash if you cannot finish him or her off.
Important chasing tips:
- Always have auto retaliate off. (When the red spiders attack you, you do not attack them back)
- Always have at least 80 energy (100 is better but 80 is probably enough)
- When running throught the non-double red spiders (only for a short amound of time) instead of attacking your opponent, follow him or her. (Once your in double, start attacking.
- After the red spiders, there's a turn, turn manually, do not follow because you will stop moving for a while.

- If your a mager, try to bind as many times as you can and run like one or two steps in front of your opponent (this way you do not lose track of your opponent on the screen)
This is all for now more coming later
