the rapier is the same speed as the whip. 19 more strength, 3 less slash attack, 94 stab attack. will be very popular. I personally am more interested in the longsword. 124 slash, 120 strength, and 1 speed rating lower. if its a mistake getting that option, I can always get 10 more levels to afford the rapier or something else.
Eventually in dungeoneering I hope to see the following: more locations to spelunk at with level requirements to start and different token/exp gain rates, different in-dungeon gear, etc.
increase in the floor count
checkpoint bosses that come at the last level of each floor type. higher difficulty and drop rate for these bosses.
a slow backward compatability takeover in which old dungeons are assigned dungeoneering requirements to enter. as it is a f2p skill, this can be applied to any and all caves, and sort of reverse-engineers a purpose for dungeoneering outside of daemonheim. it only makes sense that you should be somewhat skilled in dungeon navigation before you can safely enter places like the godwars dungeon or even the lumbridge caves.
mini-dungeons scattered throughout runescape with 5-10 floors that have removable rewards for completion, more like traditional instances but still randomely generated. they each have their own theme, and have a certain bosses in certain orders every time. some may have static monster difficulties, preventing you from completing them without taking a party along.
