Carpentry and Farming

they would be really interesting and fun but i think that those skills will be a little too pointless

i say skills like carpentry and farming wouldnt be pointless for example what if farming also meant getting your own herbs and growing them along with potatoes, tomatoes, for your stew and curry i think that makes sense for the growing herblore you need high farming...

the houses would be more like a huge little town haha but you go to the front office and they would ask which how to go you type in the name of the player (player houses would all be connected to friends list) than you are redirect to the front of the person house you can enter but wont be much for you do unless they invite you, you can enter depending on the players house filters only allowing friends, anyone, or no one.

the better carpentry better the house. mansions errr i dont know big lodges more like it .

I always thought that it would be like the Shades of Mort'ton quest. You need a group of people to help you build the house or you can do it on your own but it takes alot longer. You also have to buy the house which can range from 50k for fairly small plot of land to a Million Huge. Perhaps 8 x 10 for a 50k plot.

With carpenty it could range from doorhandles (the gloves of the carpentry skill) to Four Poster Beds complete with Al Kharid Silks hanging from the framework.

The Farming skill also offers a way for people to work for others in a more structured environment. They are given access to a strict space within the plot in which they can plant potatoes or plough the fields. This helps get the Employers house looking nice and stocked with herbs not to mention the worker earning certain money.

farming would be really really bad who actually uses the items tht is in the fields already?? only thing tht would be good if is cows where there and you could store the hides at house other than tht i couldnt care about wheat onions cabbage....

yeh,i think wed have apartments insted , like devinmsz said,runescape only has a limited amount of space,so what would happen if 50k people built houses all around the world,it would be crazy,and u also gota think about differint worlds,lets say that one person builds a house that a person in a diferent world built at,how would that be possible to avoid?and for the farming thing,instead of having ur own garden,u use the gardens the people have already supplied,maby theyll make a farming spot,where their is feilds as far as u can c.....im just saying,these 2 new skills would take up quite amount of space in our small little world we live in(kinda)

they wont be apartments, they wont be seperate houses, or 50 story buildings.. Rs is set back in middle ages and so on, the best stuctured buildings were castles. Rs simply does not have the space.. too much programming. The skillz im sure will have good points to them, jagex's updates half the time suck. But im sure there will be a good point to the skills.

Just think of how many members there are, sure u might see at most 1300 per member server, but just think of the others in different time zones, or who just cant be on much. Im sure there are at least 50,000 members, there simply will not be 50,000 rs houses, think of all the new members coming also.. There wont be apartments, still would be at least 5000-10000+ apartments.. Jagex did say player owned "houses". But yeah, just thought i would share my opinion.

and in farming wouldnt it be cool if like u had ur own storage or something?like u hire workers and they put all ur plants into like a bank box or something
