I have heard on the ol' grapevine (he he, love that saying) that Jagex sneakily introduced a timer into clan wars (3 minutes) which I find rediculously short. Once again, Jagex are changing the game for the worse, it seems that instead of working out updates in stages like this:
>Update team assembles, nominates ideas.
>Discuss pro's and cons of the update.
>List how this can be manipulated and how this affects the whole community
>Develop the update.
>Update.
Now it seems that the development team completely skip this step
>List how this can be manipulated and how this affects the whole community
Therefore leaving us with:
>Update team assembles, nominates ideas.
>Discuss pro's and cons of the update.
>Develop the update.
>Update.
Ding! Ding! Ding! the most important step is being forgotten.
There was no need for a clan wars change!
The three minute timer means that any "nub" can just rune when their members start dying out or recruit a whole lot of "nubs" to hide so that their team wont be the one with the lest amount of people at the cut off.
A legitmate clan war could take up to an hour with 100+ people on each team, now they have nowhere to war, Clan War has now become another joke of an update.
Something is deffinitely wrong in the way Jagex develop their updates nowdays.
