A noob is not a low combat!!!

You mean the word "noob" has meaning!?! I tought it was a universal insult basically meaning idiot, fool, weakling, taste the power of my weapon, or the good ole begone.

Newb on the other had refers to time spent playing overall...
Opposite of is called a "no-life" (i've been labled this by many a person) And to reply to them... Crumble undead doesn't work on me...

well when i started the game ages ago, and i mean it, when you got to choose your career off the begining a newb was defined as someone lvl 30 and below, this was because in old old classic it was actually pretty hard to lvl not knowing what monsters lvls were, i remember being lvl 6 and fighting a bear becuase i didn't realize it was a lvl 21 :lol:

. any way now adays there are no newbs there are just arsholes who think they are cool, that say owned when you fail to steal from a guard, but are low levels that want to make themselves feel good, and although i use the word many times too, i wouldn't mind seeing the word banned from rs and that way we might be able to get along with each other a little better.

Don't call a new player Noob..It should be newb..I've seen ppl calling new players Noob..

accually.for abit the filter blocked it out, but people still found a way around it

take for example...a lvl 102 walkes up to a lvl 50 and says..."hahahah your a noob compared to me"...i call that noobish behaviour..thus making the 102 a noob...

In answer to your original question I would say neither, its all to do with stupid behaviour, begging and the suchlike. As long as a lvl 3 doesn't pester me then I have no reason to call them a noob. Unfortunatly most lvl 3's do pester me (and others no doubt) so they should be called a noob and learn from it. I didn't go around begging and stuff when I was low lvled because I'm not confident enough, I'm really shy and timid and didn't want to get called a noob so I didn't beg or randomly trade with people. Me and my friends still did pretty newby things like think iron longs were brilliant and have parties with cake and bread and beer underneath lumbridge castle...heheh, makes me smile just thinking about it.
