A sort of visual idea I've discussed for quite a while with various people is how would runescape play if we were viewing through a first person perspective? Forget technical rubbish because it's almost impossible, but yet again, I'm just curious as to how you think it would be.

It'd be awesome when not fighting.

If they added it they would need a button to turn it on/off. Like down near pub/priv chat, trade/compete, and report abuse. Add a new button for change view; right/left side, front, rear, and normal.

I think it would be neat for when skilling and stuff. Especially if they made the arrow keys change the directions you looked.

Well, Runescape is fine the way it is now.
And Runescape in firt person would be very hard to make in java, I think.

Oh yeah, obviously. But it's just a topic.

I think fishing would be cool in first person. Sort of like WoW fishing but.. uhh.. 'fun'.

I actually would be happy when we got a sort of camera item which makes it able to view as a first person just on that spot. Basicly just moving the camera in front of your face. It's nice to make screenshots with it. Plus I would be able to see my entire house from one side.

It would make things like player killing more realistic. You wouldn't be able to see people that are behind you, maybe allowing for some sort of bonus for surprise attacking? (Like on Oblivion 8) )

I really dont think it would be such a great idea because in a skill such as fishing all you would be looking at is the water
