He fails at punctuation, not grammar. His grammar is fine.

He fails at neither punctiation or grammar. Stop insulting him. -.-
The most noticable mistake in his response was the use of the word "effect" instead of "affect"...

Even a Jagex mod can't differenciate Newb and Noob. He deserves to be fired.

No doubt he's been told to say this; in the knowledge base, somewhere, they have the definition of "Noob" as "New Player".

Really it's not that offensive. You just have to rise above it. :P

I personally think that "noob" has a number of different meanings:

1: You're stronger and better then me, and I don't want to admit it.
2: I am SO jealous of you.
3: Yeah, I know. I stink, don't I?
4: So you like to think outside the box, eh?

If it doesn't help, maybe this will:

Nobody's
Obscure
Or
Bummed

What I'm trying to say is it's just an expression. That is all. If you guys are so sensitive to it, maybe you should adapt to it. Don't let it bother you. It's just 1 person's opinion. Plus, 85% of the time someone calls you it is because he is one himself. The other 15% is because you're doing either something extremely silly or something that no one else is used to.

Oh, and Jagex just called themselves "noobs". Totally worth reading.

I'm sick of seeing people posting things from their message box, trying to proove that Jagex are idiots. Yet they ask the dumbest/most common questions and expect a response like what you'd expect from Stephen Fry.

I'm sure that showing these things is in direct breach of the RuneScape terms and conditions too. :\

It is, believe it or not. Jagex wants that stuff to be private. It says so in their Terms and Conditions.

Anyone who whines about being called a "noob" has some serious insecurities. I don't see it as offensive, I see it as the staple word of the thousands of young adolescent children (mostly boys) who play the game.

And this is why I keep my Public chat off during most of my gaming now.

I find people using the word way to much. Mostly pker's. I try to just ignore it all, but sometimes I just go off on people who use the word to much =s

Yeah I keep mine off too.
