Mage armor.

I don't get why splitbark is used so much for melee even though it's weak. Mages don't use it because they have better stuff like skelletal or mystic. Splitbark isin't good for mage at all but what makes it good for melee?

You know the only thing I could come up with is that they like the looks of it. It has no special abilities to my knowledge...

because it gives a defence bonus and magical bonus
and more importantly it doesn't protect over a whip like a mystic top does.

actually from what ive heard whip > mystic top now. id still use split tho for its def...

Skeletal is worse.

Mages use Split bark top and Mystic bottom for Pking. It's a good combo.

splitbark for looks is what i say..my friend keeps tellling me hes gonna get it b/c its "so cool looking"

id just use mystic, split doesnt do it for me
