Theory of wood cutting/introduction

How do you start?
Start off bringing 1-5gp and buy your self a bronze axe in Lumridge. Once your in Lumbridge go to the axe shop close the where the grave yard. Once you bought one bronze axe you can start wood cutting.

Where should I start?
1-15
You should cut normal logs best south of the cooking guild there are lots of trees and they are close to the bank. Well you can’t really sell your logs in F2p but you can always burn them. Keep doing this till your wood cutting is 15.

15-30
By now you should be able to use black axe up to mithril axe and you should be able to cut oak logs. I strongly recommend you stay just where you are (south of cooking guild) because it’s near the bank and there are three oaks. Like

30-60
Now get your wood cutting level to 31 and buy your self an adamant axe they cost 5k each. If you don’t have the cash just stay with your mithril axe. Now you can start cutting willows the best place to cut willows is on Draynor. Just behind the bank there are 5 willow trees. Just takes 3 seconds to get to the bank from the willows. Once you get your wood cutting to 41 get your self a rune axe. They cost 15-20k. Keep cutting and banking till you get 60 wood cutting. By then you should have around 3k-4k willows. Sell them in world 1 in the Draynor bank for 30gp each. But if you choose you could burn them they give good exp.

60-99
Optional
*If you what to make cash get your rune axe (You must have a rune axe or it will take days to get 1k yews) and got to Falador south gate near the gate and start cutting yews. There are lots of places where you can cut yews but this is far the best I think. Think about it there are 3 logs less people here. And the bank isn’t that far just 20 seconds of walking.

*If you have heaps of cash and just want exp just keep cutting willows till your 99 because willows are faster to cut. So technically is the power version of wood cutting. Keep in mind you need a rune axe to do this.

*Yew Logs-260-310gp

*Black axe-4k-5k (it’s a rare hard to find)
