Be carrefull of boss001 and GiveAway7 and some more!! They say that they are of jagex staff but they aren't. They say that there are complains agains you and they ask to give your pass. Plz don't do this because it's not true. I've try it with another account for see it of they are of jagex. Result: i can't go annymore on this account. I've report them but i don't know of they are bannend.

Jagex mods will ALWAYS have a golden crown. Remeber that.

People from Jagex always have a crown in front of their names. It looks like a silver or gold crown with a M in it
Jagex can look up your password if they want to, they will never ask for it

neither are the lvl 3 accounts that do this most often.

happens alot just report them for impersonation the account will get banned.

all jagex and player moderators have crowns next to their name in both the private chat and public chat boxes.
the crowns CANNOT be turned off unless they lose their mod status.
silver crowns - player mods - look in my sig
gold crowns - jagex mods - all have "mod" in their names with 3(might be 4) exceptions.

Just remember:

Gold Crowns -- Jagex Staff Moderators
Silver Crowns -- Player Moderators

Also someone who uses their ability in that way is definetly not a moderator. Jagex does not tolerate those kind of actions.

Lol, sorry but that's funny. He has a sig with someone else's name on it in his sig :lol:

Anyways this is old, first close encounter I underwent in my long life of near scams. I almost fell for it because some jerk I was training near told me that the person was really a jagex mod (back in those days there was no gold crown next to their name). So I almost gave them my psw but I didn't because the scammer logged out lol. :shock:

We just can't stress this enough.

Real Jagex Staff will NEVER ask for your pass, free stuff, etc.

For goodness sakes, if they wanted your character, they don't even NEED your pass. And they most certainly don't need stuff because they can pull it all out of cyberspace (don't ask) and even make more.

Plus, there are only about 20 or so members of the team. If they're working on a game this big, I have no idea how many of them have time to actually play Runescape, let alone intermingle with one person at a time.

teenwolf = player moderator, not jagex staff.
player moderators are normal player account and show up on the highscores.
jagex staff can alter their stats almost at will and therefore dont appear on the highscores otherwise they'd take up the first 3 pages or so of them alone.
