Nah they're not worth it, complete waste of the stone IMO. I prefer to have the peace of mind of wearing a Ring of Life, especially when I lag.

Maybe the ring of wealth was designed to make coin drops more frequent?

seems the way as about 2/3rd's of my drops are coins with it..

still i have had some good drops in my time so i cant fault it :) i think it works!

Man i hate this. People wear it and expect to get all the rare drops all the time. It is a SMALL and UNOTICABLE change. It's like an extra 1 percent chance of getting it added on. Nothing major.

Doesn't it raise VALUABLE drops by a slight chance (as bacon said) and actually omits lower drops by a major chance.

Example:

Wear the ring when you fight hobgoblins and you're limpwurt root farming.

I tested this ages ago back when the ring was first out and the noticable thing is that it was insufferably hard to get any decent amount of limpwurt roots while wearing the ring but quite easy to pick up a ton of them without the ring.

I do wonder what exactly the triggers and formulas are, however it's probably safer to assume that you're more than likely to get money rather than plain items through the ring of wealth and it isn't likely to get you a dragon drop. Given that many people claim the ring doesn't help with dragon drops, wear the ring when you want cash and vice versa.

Anyway, I've been wearing one recently, I don't fight though but I haven't seen any noticable changes in random events at all.
