Jagex doesn't care?!?

Man, I've been a subscriber for less than two months and I already think I am giving up the game entirely.

I was hacked, which isn't the reason I am leaving, but it was certainly what started it.

I got the IP address of the hacker when I logged in afterwards and I sent it to Jagex. I begged for a personal response to just prove to me that they are at least reading the information. I got that form response that we don't care about your email, but I got nothing else.

Is this common?

Do you all think that Jagex doesn't give a crap either?

They don't help anyone with being hacked becuase it is usually your fault that you got hacked. You probably made an easy password to guess or went somewhere unsafe and got a key logger.

Sorry to say but there is nothing they will do about it but tell you what I said.

I don't doubt that it is my fault in some way, I am just suprised that they don't care about finding the person who hacked it.

I would assume that this isn't the first time this person hacked someone, but if you don't come down hard on hackers, why would they ever stop?

most ppl get hacked by 1 of there friends because they know them well so u have more chance of getting hacked...

if you relize how many people are putting in these and once you do then you can say they dont care but they have alot to deal with and theres not alot of people in the jagex team to look at the problem and they do care or they wouldnt be doing any updates or anything they would just close the game

Exactly, too many people complain about being hacked. It just isn't a thing that Jagex needs t worry about.

im sure the most likely reason that JAGEX sends out those automatic messages isbecause they have so many people to consider. if they didnt care there wouldnt be a game and there certainly wouldnt be an F2P. i think that they tend to put members first since they are paying for the game and then the free players but also if its about hacking they usually dont tend to waste their time because often it is peoples own fault. i guess its just something you have to deal with and be more careful about key loggers, etc.

they probably care but they cant do anything for you. they cant give items back to every people who got hacked, thats obv. they can neither be sure that you are providing the right ip or that you actually got hacked.
