Auto Miner?

I have heard the phrase "auto miner" used more than a few times, and I am curious of what it is. I have a strange feeling it has something to do with mining (I wonder why). If this is something bad/illegal on RS, I am sorry, but I didn't know. :cry:

It's when they use some program to mine the rocks exactly when they appear...makes it pretty much impossible for a real human being to get it....If there's someone doing it I recommend lots of coffee or other caffinated drink

An auto miner is a type of macro. Macroing is a program that allows your clicks, movement or mouse, and keyboard. You just record what you want to do. I think this is how it works: First you mine normally, like 3 iron rocks. Mine the way pattern that you want and then save the record. You can play it and you can leave it there AFK (away from keyboard) while getting iron or such. It is against the RULES. And alot of them are full of BAD KEY LOGGERS that HACK your RS account.
