Howdy Friends :) Thinking about playing a little RS3 but super confused by the combat system. Any suggestions?

Enable revolution. Right click the cog and it can be set there. You can also from that same menu get a suggested action bar for your current loadout.

Also suggest checking out the Combat Academy just north west of the Lumbridge lodestone.
