Year 7 of RSBANDBUpdate! has begun. Chief Snake is also back to help me celebrate this fond anniversary. All of this plus the Trollish RS Update and why Facebook Fails.

I just listened back through this podcast, and you guys were talking about the oil vats in Troll Invasion and both of you didn't understand where this came from or its use. Oil was commonly used in defending castles in medieval times to burn those storming the gate. It also became gooy and slick, making it difficult to roll battering rams close enough to knock down the gate. Typically however, it was anti-personnel defense. Think of it as the equivalent to throwing a deep fryer full of oil at someone. Ouchies.
