Quest Name: Eagles' Peak
Quest Length: Short
Starting Point: Ardy Zoo - Talk to Charlie
Quest Difficulty: Easy
Quest Type: Members
Minimum Requirements: 27 Hunter

Items needed: 1-2 swamp tar, 1-2 yellow dye, 10-20 Eagle Feathers(you get during quest), and about 100gps for Eagle Outfit.
Recommended items: Varrock teleport, Ardy Teleport (also for quick trips, you may use the Spirit Trees)

To begin the quest speak to Charlie, who deals with new deliveries at the zoo. He will tell you about one of
their associates went missing while trying to recapture a ferret for them.

Head to Eagles' Peak and go to the campsite and investigate everything you can. When you investigate the books you'll find a book that when you open it, gives you a metal feather (this is used to open the door in the mountain peak).

Go to and use the feather on the door. When inside you will be able to pick up the Eagle Feathers needed - remember
Get 20 or more - Go south a bit to where Nickolas is and a short clip with begin where he tells you he needs you to make each
of you an Eagle Outfit and to go to the Fancy Dress Store in Varrock (The one on the Eastern part of Varrock) When
you speak to the Fancy Dress store owner, he will tell you that you need the swamp tar and yellow dye and feathers.
Give them to him to receive TWO Eagle outfits ( 2 beaks and 2 capes )

Go back to the Eagles Peak and when you shout to Nickolas he will tell you to bring them to him. Here is where it becomes slightly interesting.

To open the Stone Door to get to Nickolas you will need 3 feathers...A bronze, silver, and gold feather.
The bronze and silver feather are found near the door, in two different caves on the map.

Bronze Feather:
Reach for the Bronze feather, and it will set off the trap..Then go around to each of the
four levers around the room in the corners(mine was on the south-eastern corner) until one brings down
the net again, then you can grab the Bronze feather.

Silver Feather:
Go to the pedastal and search it, and you will find tracks, follow the tracks in their direction and investigate
the rocks to eventually lead you to the cave in the North-eastern corner, where when you search the cave a
Kebbit will attack you (it is easily killed and drops the Silver feather)

Maze steps for Gold Feather:

Items needed: Grab about 20 seeds or so from the birdseed holder.

1 Go directly north and pull the first lever you see

2 Go to the south wall, put seed in bird feeder, and watch as two birds come but one is blocked, then the
west bird will stay near it. Go around pull the lever at the west there...and the EAST gate opens.

3 When going into the east door, look at your surroundings to understand:
Go to the furthest east bird, near the lever..and put seeds into its feeder...
then go to the other bird, and put the seeds in it's feeder..and walk all the way around them to the lever.

4 Now go to the northern most lever, and pull it for a second time. Now put seeds in that feeder next to it,
and the bird will come to you opening the next lever. go all the way north and then west to the lever and
pull it.

5 Now go all the way to the south and to then follow the tunnel west, and you'll notice that those too gates
have both opened...put seeds in the feeder of the southern-western most bird, to send it back west.
Go all the way back to the northen part and repull the lever of step 4, where the two opened gates are.
(not the lever near the birdfeeder) Now go back to the southern part, and put seeds in that
feeder to clear your up the long path west.

6 Now go all the way west and take feather, and leave the maze.

Below are screenshots of the maze I took for each step - with the map visable so you can double check where you are. They are in order and go with the written guide:

Now that you have all the feathers go and put them into the Stone Door, which you will then be able to open.

You will see a Giant Eagle, put on your Eagle outfit, both beak and cape, and slip past the eagle, and speak to Nickolas and give him his outfit and he will tell you to go back to the camp.

Down at the camp, tell Nickolas that you still need the ferret, and he will show you how to capture one in
a short cut-scene. After which, you will have the ferret in your inventory, and be able to teleport to Ardy
and give the ferret to the Charlie at the zoo to finish the quest.

Reward: 2 quest points, 2500 hunter exp, ability to catch ferrets,
also gain access to eagles atop Eagles' Peak.

It's a good guide, the maze was a little difficult without a guide but I managed it. Anyone try seeing what the Eagles are used for after you complete the quest?

Pictures editted hopefully to your liking trekkie. I left the map visable for anyone to look at incase they are not fully sure where they are at. Seemed easier than taking multiple screenshots of the map and putting them together to form a complete map of the area (which I tried and failed at). Hope you are satisfied.
