Ok so i decided to make a woodcutting guide. It might not be the best one youve ever seen but i wanted to make a guide. So here it is!

Axes: You can use any axe at any woodcutting level, you just cant weild it. What type of axe you have also depends on how much money you have/are willing to pay. Here is my estimate of the prices of axes (if they are player made):

Rune: 15-20k
Addi: 2-4k
Mith: 750.1200gp
Black : 1-3k
Steal: 150-200gp
Iron: 75-100gp
Bronze: Free-75gp

Levels you need to cut each tree
Normal: 1 Woodcutting
Oak: 15 Woodcutting
Willow: 30 Woodcutting
Yew: 60 woodcutting

Places to chop: These are the places i find the best to chop. There are a ton of other places but here are the ones i prefer.

Image
Draynor Village/Port Sarim: You can pretty much chop here for your whole woodcutting career 8). I suggest starting at normal logs from 0-30 woodcutting. You can start chopping outside the bank were the yellow dots start west of the path. Then cut them until you are finished chopping the ones that go south. Then go east across the path and start chopping north. Once you are done chopping there i think you are pretty close to a full load so then you can just bank them. Repeat this process ( ) Then move on to the oaks by the jail. (There are 3 there in a triange but i only pointed out 2 on the map). But a-while ago jagex moved the guards who were near the jail around so now they can atk you. If your a low level that is. If your a semi hi level, no worries. But if you are a low level there is one just east of the bank that you can chop without being disturbed. Once you get around 50 woodcutting or so can move to willows if you want. Oaks are much faster xp, but if your looking for the money over the xp go to willows. Most of the time it is pretty crowded in draynor so if you want to beat the crowd, go around the wall to the port sarim willows. It will take longer to get over there then it would to go to draynor but you might get more logs quicker. There are about 4 willows you can chop, 5 counting the one you cant chop.

Image
Varrock: This place is just west of varrock west bank. There are two oak trees there that are close to the bank. There are normal trees that you can cut too. Then there are willow trees down south by the water. I highly suggest not chopping willows there.

Image
Edgeville: This is a place to cut yews. There are two yew trees in the building and it is near a bank. There is also a willow tree east of the bank if you want to chop willows.

Image
Behind Varrock Castle: This is another place to chop yews. It is far away from a bank but not many people go there. It would probably take you a good 2 minutes or more from going to the bank then getting back. I highly suggest this place to raise firemaking on yews. Chop the yews then burn them along the wall. As shown by the line of fire  .

Image
Near the farms near Draynor and Lumbridge: Here is anoter line of fire. There are tons of willows and i have never seen anybody chopping there. So if you want to train firemaking on willows. This place is to good to be true.

Well, thats all for my guide. It may be not to good but my arm is sore from typing. Thanks for reading my guide and happy chopping!

P.S. At the end of your post could you say Yes or No stateing whether this guide was helpful or not helpful. Thanks

Good guide. Explains things very clearly. You need to add some colors to the guide.

Don't forget about the yews just south of Falador, and the other batch even further south, the yews northwest of rimmington.
