Yeah, I decided I'm going to stick with the 7970. I plan to only use one 1080p monitor for the time being and I'll eventually add one more in the future (debating though). Not worth the hassle for a nominal boost in performance. Both cards are basically neck and neck anyway. I'm happy with my choice as is. Super excited to set up the new rig once I get my hands on all pieces
