question about image shack

how come when i try to upload an image it somtimes wont upload it

Ive had this happen too, usually its because your image is too big for their size limit. Otherwise its just because too many people are trying to upload so many images at once, it just leaves some out. But usually if u just try to upload the same thing again (if it is under the size limit and a allowed type of file) it will work the second time.

Yep the limits 1024KB thats proally y then some arent appearing. Right click on your pictures b4 u upload them (on your computer) and click properties to check the size. Its pointless to try over 1024KB because it wont work, you can save them in a differnt format to decrease the file size depending on what they are origionally if you really need the whole thing.

wat is a program that will change the size?

Mostly any program will reduce the file size, a very basic common one is MS Paint or Paint (should be under: start menu -> all programs ->acessorys (incase u didnt know)). Just open up the image and save it as a different file type (like ".gif" or ".jpg"). This will in most cases reduce the file quality when you reduce the file size, sometimes it will be apparent and othertimes not. Just try different ones depending on how much u need the size reduced, alot of the time i use .jpg for when i need to upload caz it has fairly decent quality and is better compressed than like .bmp or .tif.
