First Computer?

I am wondering what everyone's first computer they owned/had in their house or place of residence was.

Mine was a Pentium 166MHz Packard Bell with 16MB ram and 1.6GB hard drive Win 95. That was an experience was something that I had never experienced, it was very good for the time...

Current Machine Now,
Win XP Pro

Intel P4 2.4 GHZ with Hyper Threading, Overclocked to 3.0Ghz
1GB Ram
280GB total hard drive space. A 120GB Drive and a 160GB drive.
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128 MB.
DVD Writer and CD Writer.

Mine has around 75mhz i think, under 400MB hard drive :shock:

, and windowz 3.1.

EDIT: I guess we are doing current computers too

120GB & 30GB hard drives
GeForce4 TI4200 128mb
Windowz XP
4x CD Burner (really sad)

A NEC laptop windows 95 NO INTERNET. 8GB no CD's just the 4 games that was it. tiny hard drive

I'm gonna expand on this for my internet history purposes.

my second and first PC (Not laptop).

Desktop Packerd Bell. Previously owned by a friend got AOL for that computer. Played the first runescape with it (Really didn't like it back then). Then lost my internet 16MB 20mb Windows 98 then upgraded to SE

Current (For refrence)

Dell
128 MB Ram
Windows 98 SE
At&t Internet after a bad charge of 60$
Went to Charter Cable Internet (Happy with it

)
20GB (Sad very sad)
Pentium 3

The first computer i had was a 486 lol....

Currently:
P4 prescott 2,26ghz with hyper threading
512 ram
Geforce 4000MX or 4400MX (not sure) 128mb
a 80GB HD for windows XP and a 10GB one for linux (slackware 10.0 now)
CD writer/reader (combo... too bad)

but your like a comp engineer or somehint glike that..

128 ram.
.500mghz(intel).
18gb..
not too bad at that time
currently:
a real bad one..i wanted to save some money so i bought this crampy one.
winddowxp.
384ram(ok).
933mghz(bad)
60gb(ok)
saving tons for a good one

mine was a window 95 can't remember the specs but when we first got it we were happy. however for the next few days we didn't do anything but play the games like minesweeper and stuff.

we then got a window 98 with netzero... *what a pain* i remember all those commericals saying how it will always remain free and then a few weeks later they said we had to pay 10 bucks a month so then we got AOL... not much better

then we got 2000 then now XP with SBC yahoo dsl

i love SBC

Sadly, i havent used my comp to its potential yet. Half-life 2 runs smooth, and DOOM 3 looks INSANE with all optioins cranked up
When Ph34r comes out, i will finally get to see what my machine can really do :twisted:

First comp was some Simens nixdorf pile of junk with Windows 95, later upgraded to 98. Now I have a hp intel pentium 4, 2.8GHz, 512 DDR, 160GB hard drive, double 8x DvD and Cd Rw and 128Mb video memory, with wireless keyboard and mouse with a 17" TFT moniter cashing in at a whoping £1500! Thank God I use it a lot.
