Hello, fellow Runescapers. I am representing Spirit of Saradomin (a.k.a SOS). SOS is a Runescape clan with a great site, great staff, and great community. SOS includes fully explained and expert guides written by master Runescaper, Azzator. Our site is well equipped with forums, a calendar, gallery, guides section, as well as links to all your Runescape help sites.
You may ask, what makes SOS special. We do not offer free membership, free items, drop parties, or any other extravagant things of that sort. What we offer is a friendly Runescaping experience, a wonderful chat filled with amazing people, and events that help you become a better Runescape player.
What sort of events? Well, Spirit of Saradomin is a skilling based clan, and before you click that red X button, finish reading this paragraph. We do a Skill of the Month every month, in which you vote in a poll between skills and the winning skill is practiced by those who sign up. The one with the most experience gets the pride of winning, and a banner to put in there signature showing their achievement (2nd and 3rd place winners get banners as well :)). We have skilling/fun events (usually for the Skill of the Month (or SOTM as we like to call it) every Saturday of every month, followed by a combat event on every Sunday. Skill/fun events include scavenger hunts, minigames, hide and seek and crazy events such as making fires throughout Runescape cities. Combat events include King Black Dragon, Kalphite Queen, Barrows, Giant Mole, and a God Wars Dungeon boss at LEAST once a month. In the month of July, we had 4 GWD trips in 4 consecutive days.
On our site, powered by Webs.com, we have a system of rank (used in our clan chat as well), and a reputation system. We often have polls to give our members the best events/experience possible.
Some basic details about our clan are as followed. Well, SOS was created on September 12th of 2007. Our home world is 48, yes, it is a P2P world, but we are not an only P2P clan. Our cape color is blue, American and European based, and our time used is Eastern (-5 GMT). Our clan chat is Spiritosara, and is open to all people whether you are dropping in, or interested in joining. I could list out all our clan statistics, but I’ll let you see for your self. Our staff is amazing, with 3 Admins and 2 Event Coordinators. Our Admins (I’m stating their Runescape names) are Azzator, Bassjason1, and Narnian01. Our Event Coordinators are Strikerz131 and Dakr06. All of these have a great understanding of Runescape, as well do most of our members. With a wide selection of wise members, most all Runescape questions that you have can be answered. If no one in the clan chat knows an answer to your question, our forum threads and posts give you an even better chance to get your question answered.
Our requirements to be an official member are 100+ F2P combat level with two 70+ non-combat skills, OR, 1500 total level. Now, if you don’t meet the requirements, you can be a clan friend which has the ability to share loot, have full forum abilities, and have access to the clan chat (as do all people).
How do you join? It’s quite simple, go to this link
http://spiritosara.webs.com/. Once at the clan site, click the enter button, then on the top portal bar, click forums. Once at the forums, register an account, once your account has been confirmed, then you go to the application section, copy the application, paste the application into your own thread, and fill it out. Once that is all completed, an admin will get to your application, accept you as a member or clan friend, and then give you a rank in the clan chat.
