Yo
Recently I did...Absolutly nothing wrong so it is not a virus. Plus I had to format and it didn't work.
The problem is: Some of my software such as iTunes, Windows Media Player almost instantly crashes whenever I try to listen to music. For iTunes, it stays on about 10 seconds and I get the message

«iTunes has encountered a problem and has to close, bla bla...»

This, or it randomly closes down just like it does when you click the X button.
For Windows Media Player, I also have this problem. However it is only with MUSIC. Because when I watch a movie or shows, it doesn't even crash at all( at least, until now.)

Plus, whenever I go to Youtube and try to watch videos, my Firefox says my Flash Plugin has Crashed.
And at last, sometimes, my computer can shut down and reboot by itself. Tho, it's pretty rare. It freezes up on occasion too.

My random guess is that I'm running out of RAM memory or my sound driver is dying. I have 256MB DDR memory, so I doubt I'm running out. I believe maybe one of my memory module has burned.

What do you think is the problem?

Well seeing how you can still view video with out crashing I doubt it is your RAM.
Also I would check your drivers for audio. Check our sound card out too.

Check your system log. There might be something from your video or sound card.

Yo
I have a new-used computer. I looked up in my old PC and all of my transistors(?) were dead. Due to overheating. No matter, I don't have to care about it, I'll just take the good periphericals from my old PC.
Thanks anyways. This can be locked.
