RS Slows my computer down?

Well, 5 Minutes into playing RS and boom. It lags really really bad, (i mena really bad, it freezes actually). This happens like 5 times b4, and im not playing RS no more (for now) until this problem gets fixed. What i looked at was the CPU usage, and it was all the way up at 100%. Is it supposed to be at 100%? Then, the rest of my computer will slow down completely. And this only happens when I play runescape. IS there something wrong with my computer? This has never happened to me. When i dont play RS, everything runs fine.

runescape, java and flash apps, games and etc obviously increases CPU usage, but most computers can run runescape and more stuff at the same time.... depends on the cpu and memory. If you are playing runescape on high detail, try low detail.

What is your cpu and how much memory does it have? Probably your computar has little memory or it is too slow...

my comp specs are :
cpu: AMD Athlon XP 1.10GHz
ram: 512 mbs
os: windows xp professional

-But this has never happen before. I could post my HijackThis log if anyone knew anything about using it.

are u using normal browsers?? cuz Rx in runehq makes my whole computer laggy

Dont attempt to run other programs at the same time as RS

(Hypocritical, Lol I do... but my CPU can support it, if it wont work try that

)

Yes, and do not ever attempt to run multiple java applets at once, thats a sure way to crash your system.
Also, try using FireFox, that will, on most computers, be faster.
