... nvm, found it ... definitely not the hardest quest when someone was able to do it that fast but a new quest is better than no quest at all.

i seen the dungeon trapdoor entrance before this update, i took a screenshot but then deleted it as i thought it was meaningless... turned out to be a new dungeon...

word of warning- guy u get shadow crystal from drains prayer really really fast! i thought i would be ok taking 10 prayer pots, but i didnt use them quick enough and lost them all :cry:

the teleporting of the zaros staff is awesome, purple blocks surround the player, then they teleport.

also i believe it comes with 26 new spells. not 100% sure.. 20k magic exp and 3 quest points i believe.

took me about 6-7 hours + i wrote a guide and posted on rsbb

EDIT: this quest was actually the hardest one so far because I died once. havnt done that before. but it was kinda unnecessary. i went as ranger = lower def. when i went as meleer i killed him but i had to eat about 15 lobs during one fight (last part of shadow diamond).

yes, there are a few new dungeons where you ahve to go down if you want to find the diamonds. contains the new slayer monster dust devil and fire giants. this dungeon is south of shanty past. far south in the desert. there is also a new dunegon west of fishing guild but you need a ring of visibility to enter (quest item). there are alot of lvl 80 skeletens there.

also found this during the quest, probably a future rs update.

The quest was tough; they sure know how to bypass protection prayers!!

Didn't die, came close to doing so three times though. One during the ice part where all your stats are constantly being drained and you're in a multi-combat area surrounded by level 110+ wolves. Yup, pretty scary.

Don't attemtp it unless you have at least 10 prayer pots and enough food to go around.

is it just me or does anyone else think that some of the stronger spells from the new staff are erm...IMMENSLY overpowered?

yes i think so too they are way too strong like some are area affect spells hitting more then 1 person at a time like in castlewars people were getting owned so bad its not even funny well anyways i wouldnt stand a chance on that quest if you look at my stats lol

This is what the new tele spells look like, a bunch of purple blocks fall on you and then fade away when you are covered.
