12th September 2005 - Cook-X

I think it's a good update. Cooking is going to be good, I've always hated clicking on every single item...

I especially love the fountain update. Finally, I can get my herblore up

It already took less than 90 seconds to cook a full load of lobs, you could of gotten 99 cooking in just like 85 hours of cooking, 2 hours a day = a bit more than a month.. Now its even faster

people also buy there way to magic and t many other things I personally love this cook x option cause now I wont get carpol tunnel yayayay for jagex they made 1 good update

Fletching is an easy skill, so remove fletch x?

Fletching is not completely auto. What with fishing and cooking what ARE you doing? I might as well just set up an auto program and leave it..why not? It's doing it anyway. As someone else also pointed out within a few weeks thousands more hit 99 fletching. And what makes most of us even more angryer is the fact they SPEEDED cooking up! It was a VERY easy skill in the first place are they trying to make as many hit 99 as possible?

Jagexs keeps changing exp in magic to stop them doing that. Yet with cooking they speed it up. So what's next for autoscape the worlds only game that breaks it's own rules? Agility x.

i think the cook x is really cool when i usually go cooking some guy would stand on the fire or i would click a guy instead of the fire and that was annoying and now i dont have to do that anymore

i limke the x cook its easier for me to lvl cooking lvls 2700 trout and 2500 salmon to go *runs and jumps in to volcano*

There is no smith x option. If you have 27 iron bars and you want iron knifes you have to choose 3 times smith 10...
And for the fletch-x I ment the adding bowstring part. You still have to click all the way...

For me, I like the update. I can't play long a day, because my parents dont want (1, 1.5 hours) so I do like speeding my skill raising up. Im only 81 combat with more then 1260 totall (60+ average) and i think the level 99 cooking will think: WHY?
Its true its not fair at all..but hey..not everybody can play the whole day.

Just because they have 99 cooking does not mean they play all day. It's more than likely they have played for years (like me). It's like researching sometihng for years and finally your coming close to your answer and can realise it to the world and then some guy beats you to it by a few days. Very frustrating and seems like you've wasted your time.
