The long-awaited dragon scimitar has finally been released. Members who have completed the Monkey Madness quest can buy it from Daga's scimitar stall on Ape Atoll. Members can also get dragon plate skirts. These are dropped by the same monsters that drop the plate leg armour.

We have also reduced the cost of the Soul Runes in the Magic Guild. These runes were previously too expensive compared to the power of the spells that used them, so few people were using them.

More Weapons For Free Players

This week we have made an update on our free worlds too! Rangers were underpowered on free servers compared to mages and warriors. However they can now use mithril arrows, adamant arrows, willow shortbows, willow longbows, maple shortbows and maple longbows.

These items can be bought from Lowe's archery shop in Varrock, or from a new arrow merchant who can be found in the village of Rimmington.

Lol I have yet to check the price of soul runes.

i am happy for the p2p because they have new dragon stuff...
but i am more happier for f2p because we finally have more ranging equipment.

i only wonder what p2p people think about the update for f2p

Well the dragon scimmy is pretty ownage, i think it could be a bit darker red.

And well they should just put that guy in varrock that changes skirts to legs. He's had a long enough vacation.

Aww sweet..At least the Monday Maddness was worth to do it..
And I still havn't seen anyone with plate skirt walking around

It's unbelievable that Jagex actually did a update with F2P
Thats actually good, cause members can go to free world and sell free members arrows and rip them off

Jk, but the prices are really rediculous, I've seen 100gp eac for mith arrows in free worlds..
And 300 for addy...i should try that some day

Edit: I heard about that guy on the forums, he was off vacation right after RS2 came out...I think he got drunk and became a monk of Entrana. ..

I love both the updates.
First day the Ranging equipment came out there were tons of archers in wildy.I killed 8 archers

Couldn't take pics cause they were teaming

And I'm sending in my membersip thingy later today so I'm gonna be a member in about a week

Does anyone have a pic of the Dragon Scimitar and how much does it cost?(And yes,I know I have to beat Monkey Madness)

Its awesome that f2p got an update. I only hit one more damage with addy arrows than steel so its not worth the money for me.
