It's very possible, I ranged one from behind the table in catherby, near the range. Wasted 190 bronze arrows on that sucker ;)

it can always happen, i mean i remeber, i was killing a goblin one time long ago, and it just dissapeared! i was really puzzled

also, that can happen to zombies and stuff, like the other guy i wasted 100 arrows and it dissapeared :? :(

Because it couldn't see you..so it disapeared since you were ranging..
