Not surprising. Jagex is incapable of creating their own content.

They know TeamFortress 2 is well received.
They know Minecraft is well received.
Naturally, TeimeCrarftress 2.5 will be well received.

I hope Valve sues Jagex over this. I'm not sure if the owners of Minecraft are big enough to, but I imagine Valve is. It's blatant copyright infringement of Minecraft and easy to see that it's a ripoff of TF2.

I may try it out when it goes free, but Jagex is not getting a cent off me for this.

After completely **** over their only real game with something known as EOC now they have resorted to blatant ripoffs to make their dirty money instead.
Seeing this game just completely ***** me off.

Wow... That is pretty unbelievable. I mean, if they wanted to give it away for free, that is fine, but this is copying two idea's. They are not even trying to hide it. As someone who has NEVER played minecraft, i can tell it is a minecraft knockoff.

Pretty let down, you guys.

Considering they had to be approved to be on Steam, they probably wouldn't have hosted it there if there were any copyright issues.

How the hell is that legal? It's literally a new Minecraft. Jagex has lost so much of my respect over the last 2 years or so.

Okay correct me if I'm wrong but ummm.... Valve made TF2 right? They also are the ones who run steam. Doesn't that mean that they won't sue them? Why would you host and sell a rip off product of your own franchise on your own gaming website? I don't think Valve has any plans of putting rip offs of their own games on their own website then sueing them later.

The style is reminiscent of Minecraft, but that doesn't mean it's a Minecraft clone. There looks to be only the three or four classes, which is a far cry from TF2's nine.

I mean, it seems kind of cool, but without trying it out $10 is a bit much. It looks okay, and maybe it's even decent. But I'd expect a few maps and that'd be pretty much it. It'd probably get old kind of quick that way.
