now if only they can make it work with an xbox controller. that would be interesting.

I would love to see one of these for an Xbox controller. Doubtful that Microsoft would give up its wireless technology for use with Android though.

Doesn't need to be wireless. (The PS3 isn't.)
I think the reason they made this for the PS3 was because it is more light and portable.

Here is proof that it can work with Xbox controller.

both ps3 and xbox use bluetooth for their controller to be wireless so it's not like someone couldn't just write a bit of code to connect them through the phone's built in bluetooth if they wanted.

Xbox uses a different radio other than Bluetooth, so unfortunately this isn't possible

. That's why everyone had to use a special dongle if they're going wireless on their desktop/laptops.
