Probably not at the same time as football and probably special programming, not their main channel. Good move on their part. They'll get some good advertising out of it.

I don't really think there's that much an interest in it to start putting it on tv tbh :/ I mean, I know the S. Koreans are really into it and would probably watch it but StarCraft's really not as big in the UK (and I'm assuming the World StarCraft Championships doesn't attract the same kind of attention as say, the Superbowl in the USA/Canada). But I suppose there's no harm in putting it on in an early morning slot like at 1am. Which'll prolly be the case.

Yes but the article doesn't say it'll broadcast starcraft only. It says it's teamed up with MLG. Which means call of duty. If you've ever played COD you'll know theres a **** ton of nerds on there that get boners over there K/D ratio and being apart of some MLG clan that I've never heard of. You can usually spot them a mile away cause they have an X in there name and if you call them a ******* over the mic they'll challenge you to a nerd off with there clan. Then when you laugh they'll go **** YOU BRO IM MLG.

Fact.

So it'll probably do alright out in America.

I think it would do well on late night, you gotta figure most people in our age group by the numbers probably don't sit down to watch TV till well past midnight.

yeah but then, it's a whole day event for 3 days. how would they try to "fit" that many people playing? unless they take like first 1 night of league of legends replay, then next night for whatever game. and then starcraft 2 for the last night.

i would never stay up to 5 in the morning to watch it.
