Here's the official blog post Basically take the survey, and maybe you get an invite to the beta. Sometimes newbies will get in, sometimes pros, other times everyday players. |

Is it going to be available permanently? I'm not at my normal computer or have Steam installed. I would definitely love to be in on the beta, though. |

Gonna fill it out and see if I can get it. Haven't been seriously playing CS for a few years, though. |

Probably for a while.. Though CS:GO is due out early this year, so maybe a month or two at max for beta access. I dunno, I filled it out even though I'm not majorly into CS:S / CS 1.6. Fun games, though I'd just kind of like to check out CS:GO, see how it's advanced graphically and whatnot. Portal 2 is probably the peak of Source games currently, and this will be newer + a different genere that. |
