http://store.steampowered.com/ 'Tis the season for pockets to be emptied and Valve to make a lot of money. Not sure if they still plan on having a Christmas sale if they are doing one this early. Anyways, lots of cheap games. The sale goes on from today until the 27th with deal's being reset at 6 PM GMT. So ready your wallets and go out there and spend, spend, spend. Don't forget too that a lot of publishers have sales on all their other games as well. November 23 Duke Nukem Forever-$6.79 Renegade Ops-$7.49 Mass Effect 2-$4.99 Orcs Must Die!-$3.74 Sam & Max: Complete Pack-$12.49 Call of Duty: Black Ops-$29.99 Risen-$14.99 Portal 2-$10.19 Test Drive Unlimited 2-$4.99 Dejobaan Complete Pack-$9.99 Men of War: Vietnam (franchise sale)-$8.74 The Oddboxx-$3.74 |

You know they'll still have the christmas/new years sales as well. They sell so much during the sales that people barely buy anything now when there isn't a sale on. It does indeed seem a bit late for an "autumn" sale though. Both Mass Effects are great games and anyone who doesn't have them should get them. Duke Nukem Forever isn't bad for that price, but mass effect is much better. Of course Valve games should always make people's purchase lists if they don't have them already. |

Haha I saw when there was no usual Midweek Madness yesterday, that there'd be a big sale starting today. From what's up on the list, I'd definately reccommend Portal 2, as well as both Mass Effects. I've sunk so much time in the Mass Effect series, and with the 3rd game only 3.5 months away, it's a good time to play the first two to get set. ![]() I'm picking up Duke Nukem Forever, Renegade Ops, Orc Must Die, and the Oddboxx from this, since I've heard good things about the latter games and because I've wanted to try DNF for awhile now. |

I'm waiting for DNF to hit $5 instead of $6.80 or whatever it is.. I have a free DLC code from buying Borderlands, so I might as well end up using it. Nothing else looks interesting / is something I don't own, or at least doesn't fit the price:need ratio (yet). Portal 2 is a steal at its current price, and if anyone doesn't already own Portal 2, L4D1+2, HL2 + ep1+2, TF2 (premium) and the awesome collection from Valve, their complete pack is only $50 during this sale. I'd expect it to be similarly priced during the winter sale, in case you can't get it now. DEFINITELY worth the $100 to buy the pack normally, and *really* worth the $50 for the pack now. Lol'ed at Black Ops at 50% off for $30, meaning the retail price is $60, the same price it was when it came out a year ago. Jeeze, they're greedy *******. |

I wish I could take advantage of the steam sales. Unfortunately my PC doesn't have the power for serious gaming, No worries though, I can get most of the same games for the decent price's buying them used for a console. |

***** off, I got LA Noire 2 weeks ago because I never thought it would be on sale so quickly...Oh well, that'd be a good one to get. The Total War Mega pack is another definite for strat fans. Seriously, you can get 4 games + expansions and DLC for $12.49. As Trekkie said, WOW. Oh yeah, as well as Fallout New Vegas + DLC for tons of good fun. Not sure about the others, will ahve to do some research. |

I'm patiently waiting for Shogun 2 to get more than 50% off, but at $15 it's already a pretty big bargain. Mmm...I think i'll pass on today, nothing too exciting that I don't already have. |

Not sure if I should get Deus Ex: HR or wait awhile... Edit: Decided to pass. Wallet's also safe today, but I'd reccommend The Witcher 1 and 2 for anyone who likes fantasy RPG style games. You could also get the first one for $2.49 if you want to try it out, but the 2nd one is even better. |

This has to be one of the most underwhelming Steam sales that I've seen since I joined up. Still, I picked up Shogun TW2, Bulletstorm and Hard Reset. I've been looking forward to them for awhile. |
