I don't want to get too excited over one trailer. But that looks more old GTA than new GTA. Could be a return to the wacky fun world instead of the dark gloomey world of GTA 4. Desperate to know if there remaking the whole of SA (awesome) or just one of the cities (:() going by the mountains and different landscapes you see I'd presume the whole of SA which means i can throw motorhomes off the mountain again. Now all i need is these rumours of the Tommy Vercetti being the main character in this game to come true and I'll be a happy bunny. The best GTA character in the best GTA world. I can dream. |

I think one of the biggest things for me that's going to make me buy the game is just the fact that the main character American.  But besides that it looks like it will be an awesome game. I can't wait to be somewhere with a lot of open places, and cars with retractable roofs.

I don't know if graphisms are uberly realistic or uberly unrealistic o.o I mean, sometimes it looks real as hell, but at some points I say «C'mon man, it looks like a game from 2003» I think the backgrounds are incredibly well made, but the characters seems...pasted over. Well, I guess I will put high hopes on this game, not as much as I did for GTA 4 because I ended up being disapointed. However, there's a few things I'm almost 100% GTA 5 will never beat the old GTAs GTA 5 will never have a soundtrack as good as Vice City's - 80s are unbeatable, unless you use them back, you'll never have a tracklist better than VC's GTA 5 will never have 'controls' as perfect as GTA 3 - It was simple, easy to command and perfect GTA 5 will not have a theme as awesome as San Andreas - The whole Gangsta thing was amazing San Andreas will always be the very best GTA game ever created for the crazy ammount of replayability. (I have over 100 hours of playing yet I don't even have 100% complete, I have 89% or so...But 100 hours is inaccurate as ****. Because I spent ALOT of time killing people, blowing up cars, and doing crazy things without saving so that time spent was never registered...) I wish GTA 5 to achieve the impossible, but I doubt it. The standards are very, very, very, VERY high. All I can say is...good luck? lol |

^ Try a older one first, see if you like the game style. Most people think they're a lot of fun, and if you like it you'll end up putting a lot of time into it, with just messing around, not counting the story. Try it. |

GTA 3 is a classic, Vice City is often considered as a gamers favorite and San Andreas without any doubt the best. GTA 4 is fine, Lost and Damned is pretty nice but no near as good as VC and SA and *** Tony is as good as GTA 4. |

Steam will probably have the whole package on sale again this coming Christmas as well. I think you should try out one of the earlier games Batman suggested and if you like what you see, then it might be worth it to get this one. |
